"Took my father out to dinner. The waiter sucked. I ordered a glass of wine after it took minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we had even sat down, then it literally took another minutes before I stopped a woman and asked her why there wasn’t anyone tending to us. Then more minutes passed and she came over with a guy that said he was giving me a glass of wine on the house. It was on the bill Then the server came over and was very angry asking why I told the manager that it’d been minutes since I ordered the wine. I told him because it had and I still at the time he asked didn’t have anything in my glass He was very confrontational the rest of the evening telling me everytime he came by the table, that “I told you I’d take good care of you! We’re just busy, but I’m taking good care of you!” As if his gaslighting me was going to make me forget the awful service. Had I not been with my father I would’ve either asked him to see me out back, or left We were in a booth near the kitchen I watched the same server wipe sweat from his forehead and then use that same hand to shield the food as he put seasoning on it before delivering it to a table. So, seasoning is bouncing off his sweaty hand on it’s way to the plate. Next, I watched the cook sautéing some prawns. One jumped out of the pan and he caught it between his pants and the dirty dish rag in his hand. He scooped it back into the pan and then sheepishly looked around to see if he’d been caught Just a disgusting and unpleasant evening all the way around Lastly, when the check was brought over I didn’t look at it and I just put my credit card down as I wanted to escape this awful experience as soon as possible only to find out that my server charged me for the wrong meal I have an almost charge on my card currently when our bill was When I told the server he told me it would be corrected but didn’t apologize. So, hopefully that gets corrected"
