"We were a party of 7 (6 adults and 1 child). The artichoke fritter appetizer along with our cocktails was fantastic! The waiter worked with us on creating a dinner for our son when nothing on the kids menu was what he wanted. Our entrees were delicious and plated beautifully. We ordered cheesecake for our dessert and were very disappointed. It was bland, tough, and tasted like we were eating the display. We notified our waiter and he got the manager right away. The manager listened to our feedback and rectified it with replacements quickly (that were also as delicious as our entrees and appetizer). Overall, it was a great meal and the staff were friendly and accommodating."

Great service and server. Light so low had to use flashlight from iPhone to read menu. All our food was great except vegetable resoto underneath entree was not warm. Decent prices. Definitely would go there again. Ask for Jules as a server

Dined at lunch with my son and daughters in-law on Valentine's Day. Service was a bit slow and my meal was slightly undercooked and a bit cool (sat out too long. My son and his wife enjoyed their meal and I'm glad for that since it was my treat.

Very nice atmosphere. The service was great. I sat at the bar and had a nicd conversation with Julie. She's very nice and attentive. Definitely someone you want representing your restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the swordfish tacos. I would definitely go back to have them again. View menu

The the quality of the food was terrible….even the French fries. Myself and my wife got upset stomach eating miso glazed salmon and the fries came with tacos and burger were soggy. How can you mess up French fries…seriously! Paid $170 for junk. Pls avoid this place, you can get better quality food from McDonalds.

Restaurant looks amazing after the remodel! Everything was great. Food came quickly. The halibut dinner is always delicious! I’m glad it is back in season. My brother had the wagyu burger and it went down a treat. The salad with chicken was yummy too. Good wines as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, if not a bit hovering.

Monday is happy hour all day at this place. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered their happyhour mules, it’s pretty nice. I won’t say it’s amazing, but for that price, I would not complain anything. We also had the raw oysters, sliders and salad. My favorite was the salad, it’s great taste with nice amount of cheese, nuts and dried berries. Maybe we will come back to try other things in soon future. View menu

Must have come in during shift change. Staff not friendly and friendly felt I was inconveniencing them. Not professional at all. Very disappointing. I was the only customer at the bar ordering to go. Just wanted to grab dinner on way home and thought it would be a quick in and out but apparently it was a major inconvenience for the rude staff. Not cool brig. Beer was good though. But, the staff came together and took care of me. Thank you brig. I understand having a bad day. I appreciate you.

We had a lovely time at the newly renovated Brigantine in Poway. The restaurant updates look fantastic. Apps came out quickly and were delicious. My macadamia crusted Mahi was tasty, but the vegetables seemed like they were an afterthought and needed some love. No seasoning, and undercooked. It didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal though. The scallop dish was enjoyed by two of our party and the fish and chips were a hit as well. Overall we had a great time! Thanks Brigantine, for a lovely evening with family.
