"Overall, it was a decent experience. The main issue was that my wife ordered the filet and lobster, specifying medium-plus for the steak. It arrived rare, so we sent it back for reheating, but it came back just as rare. In the end, we decided to swap steaks. I had the bone-in ribeye, which was delicious but a bit overcooked for my medium preference—though it turned out to be perfect for her. For a steakhouse at this price point, it shouldn't be difficult to cook steaks to the desired temperature."

Our waiter, Anthony, was very friendly and excellent. My filet was delicious. We will definitely return for dinner!

It was decent and in line with my expectations. While it wasn't as good as H3, it was similarly priced but had a less enjoyable atmosphere.

I was seated promptly and received outstanding service from Macy. The steaks were delicious, although the sides were fairly average. The interior features some neat western town decor.

The atmosphere was lively and the food was delicious. However, our server was lacking. She forgot our salads and we had to frequently remind her about our requests. To top it off, we had to search for someone to help us settle the bill at the end. View menu

I was recently in the area for a wedding and had the pleasure of trying the ribeye at this restaurant. It was incredibly juicy and tender, one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. However, it could use a bit less salt. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Fort Worth.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my family while on a holiday road trip. Given the changes we've all experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, safety is always a top priority for travelers. The restaurant was clean and adhered to the necessary protocols to keep customers safely distanced. On top of that, the food was exquisite—the steaks were cooked to perfection and the service was excellent.

Overall, our dining experience was quite pleasant. The sweet corn appetizer was delightful, and my prime ribeye was nearly perfect in its cooking and packed with flavor. The only drawback was the lengthy wait. Although it wasn't as long as they had initially indicated, we never received a text notification that our table was ready, resulting in an extended wait time. Despite this, it was still a good experience, and I would recommend the restaurant. View menu

A truly authentic Texas experience! The meat portions are huge, and you can order by the pound. Everything we tried was delicious and fresh! Each level features a station for beans, condiments, and drinks. The condiment station includes pinto beans, onions, pickles, BBQ sauce, and more. The second floor has significantly more seating than the first. Plus, it's only a short walk to the state capitol building. However, the ordering line can be a bit confusing.

Natalie is the BEST WAITRESS IN THE STOCKYARDS! I ordered the largest and finest steak based on her suggestions, and I genuinely believe she deserves a promotion and a raise. She truly enhances the experience at the Stockyards! I highly recommend requesting her during your visit; she will help you choose the best dishes to make your first experience unforgettable. While I enjoyed the food, it’s Natalie’s exceptional service that will definitely bring me back! Thank you, Natalie!

"On my first visit, I tried the Southern Shrimp and Grits, which were simply amazing—stone-ground cheese grits topped with sautéed shrimp, enhanced by a flavorful mix of peppers and bacon. Chef Jeff and his team use fresh sirloin in their chili, and it’s absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The food is exceptional, and the concept behind it is truly inspiring. I now volunteer here regularly. Chef Jeff and his wife, Julie, have a mission: "Our mission is to feed, educate, and serve our community so that they may 'taste and see that the Lord is good'” (Psalm 34:8). Customers can choose to: 1) pay what they can afford, 2) pay the standard price for a similar restaurant, or 3) pay a little extra to help those who are less fortunate. This creates a beautiful and fulfilling experience. They are open for lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. If you’re pressed for time, I recommend making a reservation and letting the hostess know. Diners are seated using a "paced method" to ensure the volunteer staff isn’t overwhelmed, but any wait is certainly worth it! Be sure to try the pour-over coffee or refreshing lemonade, and sample small plates like bruschetta or farro salad, as well as main dishes such as the apple bacon sandwich, crispy potatoes, burgers, shrimp and grits, and chili. And don’t overlook the dessert—it’s indulgent! I can’t express enough how much I adore this place!"
