"This experience could have been so much better. The staff was spread pretty thin and were overworked. We felt ignored and had to ask for tea refills, water, extra sauce, etc. I love homemade meatballs and expressed this to our waitress. She agreed that I should try the linguine and meatballs over the chicken piccata. The marinara was sublime; rich in flavors and not too “herby.” But there was not enough of it and I had to ask for more. And meatballs should be flavorful and tender. These were SO tough, they could barely be cut with a knife. I left 3/4 of my two. The swordfish was good, a nice piece of fish and the capellini with marinara was excellent. Service was poor, as mentioned above. We will probably not return."

I always enjoy the swordfish and they make great cocktails. The owner was rude to me- because I asked for a different table. She said, “The food tastes the same anywhere Ma dam “ Very uncalled for View menu

Dinner was great at Roberto’s. The clams Casino appetizer was tasty, but not huge. The entrees were very good, especially the lobster ravioli, and the wine we had was both good and fairly priced. Our server, Ana, was attentive but not hovering.

Food was poor. This was our first time at Roberto’s. We orderd quintessential Italien food. Egplant parm. Was sliced paperthin and with a hard crust Lasagna was better but pedestrian at best. The restaurant was sophisticated and appealing in decor and with pleasant servers which hightened our anticipation but to no avail.

"My dad ordered the penne pasta with added lobster, but it was overwhelmingly garlicky — all he could taste was garlic. He found the aftertaste to be unpleasant and immediately reached for gum to try to mask the awful flavor it left behind. My mother felt that the Portuguese seafood melody lacked flavor this time; it usually has a nice spiciness and a rich broth, but this time it was bland and almost watery. At least the seafood was cooked perfectly, so that’s a positive. My pasta was decent, but it felt oilier than usual, which was odd, though the flavor was still good. My brother couldn’t order his usual dish because the bar menu is now only available outside or at the bar. Previously, there was never a problem ordering from that menu in the dining area. It seems they’ve changed the rules, which is disappointing. On a positive note, the atmosphere is still nice; the tables are well spaced, and the noise level is comfortable. They dim the lights later in the evening, and each table has a lit candle, creating a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant is also very clean and well maintained. Our waitress was polite but felt a bit distant; she didn’t check on us throughout the meal, which would have given us a chance to express our concerns. Finally, I recommend making a reservation! We've been turned away in the past for not having one, and I'm not sure if their policy has changed or if they still require reservations only. It's better to be safe, so I’d suggest booking in advance if you plan to eat here. Overall, I'm not in a rush to return, but who knows, maybe in the future we might give it another try."
