"When you have a small menu with only 5 entrees, you can't be sold out of one of the entrees by 6:15 in the evening. Farm to table technique was solid, but the prices were a bit high for what they were serving. Particularly the $23 roasted head of cauliflower entree. And yes they seem like they did alot of great things to that $3 head of cauliflower to make it into a delicious entree but wow. Service was great, ambiance was great, very cozy. Definitely to me more of a good pre or post event place for a drink/dessert or conversation."

Our guest was disappointed in the grilled pimento cheese sandwich- not what she was expecting. She particularly did not the grilled red peppers on top of the cheese. Some communication problems with server about how the sandwich was made.

Our first time at RM 39 and it was a pleasant Saturday lunch. The menu was well thought out and offered a moderate choice of food styles on both the brunch and lunch menu. The wine list by the glass was larger than many places of similar cuisine; there was a grape for all people plus some sparkling. We will probably return the next time we are in the KC Metro on the Kansas side. View menu

What an amazing dining experience! The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. The food was so thoughtfully prepared with creative seasonal recipes. Every dish we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection. My favorites included the chicken liver tortellini (as a non adventurous eater this was amazing! and the juiciest ribeye I’ve ever had. The meal was topped off by a chocolate torte I will request as my last meal. Thank you for a delicious dinner rm 39!

Wonderful service and great recommendations for food from our waiter. The menu wasn’t huge but carried local fare incorporated into delicious and pleasing to the eye dishes. Great ambience and beautiful lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. My husband had the ribeye and I enjoyed the chicken roulade which was deep fried and was an interesting take on fried chicken. We had the pretzel appetizer with country ham and aged cheddar and the chocolate torte for dessert.
