"Came in on a busy night, ok I can handle a wait, but we were the only ones waiting on a table. Lady at the hostess stand, aparenty a waitress, never said hello. Hostess shows up, still no hello or welcome.... 10 minute wait. No problem. 30 minutes later, finally sat down. Waited 20 minutes with multiple waitresses walking by, no one ever came up to say hello, sorry we are short handed, be right with you. I got up to ask where our waitress was and no one even knew WHO our waitress was. We just left at that point with an apology for being short staffed. Simple greetings would have probably kept us longer but the hostess seemed like she could care less. I also saw a lady at the table next to us have to walk up to the bar to get more wine. I can't comment on the food since I never got so much as a water."

This is one of my top choices for dining! The food is consistently fantastic and they also serve delicious drinks. It's a hidden gem in Buffalo! Don't miss out on the chicken banana pepper soup! We also savored the RustBelt Meatloaf, which was topped with pulled pork and bacon, and the inferno chicken. We paired our meals with a gin and tonic and vodka tea. It was simply perfect! View menu

We enjoyed our 1st time at Rust Belt. Two of us got a broiled fish and shrimp special, one got beer battered fish and one got meatloaf. Everything was good quality. Our only issue was with the size of the broiled fish, it was quite small. The shrimp (3) with our special were also smaller and were not worth the roughly $5 increase in the menu item. Stopped by for the first time after hearing good reviews and after dinner tonight, we will definitely be back! The service was awesome, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was really nice. The ONLY thing I would say 'negative ' is that I felt it was very loud inside. However, they were very busy when we went so that 's to be expected. I would definitely make reservations before going.
