Rusty's Riverfront Grill

The food isn't as good as it used to be, but it's been a while since we last visited. If you're a fan of seafood, I'd still recommend going. I just wish they offered catfish on the menu.

I had high hopes for Rusty$, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The experience was mediocre at best. I ordered the fried green tomatoes topped with hollandaise and crab meat, but the tomatoes fell short...

The service was excellent! Although the restaurant was busy, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The food matched the quality of the service! It's definitely worth a visit, and I’ll be returning for another meal next time I'm in town. View menu

Outstanding service and some of the best seafood pasta and Red fish me and my husband have ever eaten. And the Mississippi Mud brownie was so delicious. I highly recommend, the price was right for the amount of food you get and the quality.

Rusty's was recommended by my Airbnb host. Like their home the restaurant was excellent. Everything I had was very tasty. The server was good even though they were busy. Those rolls melt in your mouth. A truly unique experience. I'm glad I had it recommended to me as I would have never found it just driving down 20.

Fantastic Southern cuisine paired with genuine Southern hospitality! We were welcomed warmly at the door, seated right away, and received excellent service throughout our visit. The steak was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor! The drink we ordered was large enough to share among the whole table. The food was excellent! I had the grilled black fish with asparagus, and it was fantastic. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was wonderful as well. We arrived before 2 PM and were uncertain if we would be served, but to my surprise, there was a line of people waiting to be seated, and they kept serving until 2:00. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in the Jackson/Vicksburg area. It's definitely worth the trip from Jackson to Vicksburg!

I had an excellent experience with both the food and service at this restaurant. If you're in a rush, though, this might not be the place for you. Each meal is prepared fresh, so it's not fast food. While it is a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it. The seafood here is the best I've ever tasted. I've tried various seafood dishes from Texas to Mississippi, and this is my favorite. Just keep in mind that if you're looking to eat quickly, this isn't the right spot—great meals deserve to be savored!

When we walked into Rusty's, they told us it would be about 25 minutes before we would get a table. It was 15 minutes. My wife ordered fried green tomatoes topped with hollandaise sauce and lump crab for an appetizer. My wife said they were scrumptious. For the main course, my wife had blackened redfish with crawfish cream sauce. The sides were house salad and cheese grits. They were so so good! I had the blackened shrimp plate with a baked potato and salad. The meal was delicious. The thing I enjoyed the most was the rolls and the sweet butter. My wife got the strawberry pie for desert. It looked so good that I helped her eat it. Rusty's is an excellent restaurant in old downtown Vicksburg.... View menu
