"I'm a Landry's select club member and get an annual $25 during my birth month that can be used at any of their restaurants. I decided to treat myself to the Golden Nugget where I could apply it towards any of their restaurants and/or casino there. I don't gamble but I love resorts and fine dining but this time I decided I wanted Salt Grass, which is more casual. I ordered their ribs and shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese. The ribs were fall-off-the-bones tender, the shrimp was perfect, and the mac and cheese was a wonderful, creamy, and delicious side. The place was very busy but since I was traveling alone, I was able to find a seat at the bar. Service was prompt, the server/bartender was quick and attentive which resulted in a wonderful dining experience. Thank you Salt Grass for contributing to my wonderful birthday weekend!"

I had an excellent lunch experience with fantastic service. I ordered the 9oz filet with shrimp, and it was cooked perfectly. Johnny provided outstanding service during lunchtime!

We love saltgrass, it is always a hit or miss on how great the food is, but this location had the best ribeye we have had! Melt in your mouth delicious. All other sides are just okay, service was pretty good.

Visited may 21st for double date trip and enjoyed their breakfast. Only issue was the Texas toast were rocks and their steak and eggs was just dry with no flavor. Hopefully next trip will be better and flavorful.

Soup was lukewarm but the chicken fried steak was good. Asked for gravy on mashed potatoes served without. We were seated outside of restaurant so atmosphere was casino hallway. Busy place so bring patience hour long wait for table. View menu

Ordered a sirloin steak to go. It was so tough I wound up throwing over half of it away. Who throws a steak away. That bad. If I still had it I could still be chewing it. I never Call a restaurant back but it was so disappointing I had to The manager said he was sorry. End of story. No way to run a restaurant. I will not be back

My Sister took me there for my Birthday Dinner. First time I 've ever eaten at a Salt Grass. The food Was FANTASTIC !!! Very clean. Our Waitress Kennedy was probably the best waitress I 've had in a very long time. I would give her 10 stars if they had it. The fried mushrooms were really good. I had the steak and shrimp. Awesome !!! And I Love Their bread !!!

I visited this location for the first time and had a fantastic experience! Our waiter was excellent—very attentive and helpful. I ordered the seafood fondue, which was amazing! I also tried the ribs, grilled shrimp with asparagus, and the surf and turf with steak and shrimp, and everything was outstanding. My favorite drink was the frozen sangria margarita—delicious! We dined here during our stay at the GN on Monday, May 23rd, and as always, the dinner and service were outstanding. My wife and I both ordered steaks, which were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Out of the three restaurants in the area—Cadillac, Landry, and Salt Grass—this one is definitely the best. If you’re planning to stay at the GN, make sure to reserve a table here; you won’t be disappointed. A tip: book your table in advance.

The food at this Saltgrass was below others I have visited. The ribs were dry, but the barbecue sauce was very good. The salmon was so-so. Overall the food was rather mediocre. The service was decent but being very crowded there is always a rather long wait. The wait staff were nice and friendly. They were all so attentive when they had the time. Not a bad place for a meal but prices are high in the casino. Definitely would not consider it fine dining.

"First, let me start by: I really wanted to like this place Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture: that didn’t work out. Our outing started out nice for my birthday brunch, but half way through my “chefs choice” omelette I was in for a rude awakening. I was pretty grossed out at what I found in my omelette dark hair) and even more so at the conflict resolution between my server Mary) and the Chef’s resolve. Firstly, we brought this up very calmly and kindly to our server and asked her if she could please take the plate away and she was apologetic and SUPER soft spoken). I asked her as a alternative to the situation if she could bring just a new side of pulled pork and avocado sauce the filling of the “chefs choice” omelette). I was extremely shocked and even more grossed out) when she came back and said “chef inspected for more hairs and said it was clear and replated it for you”. I was really confused as to why they would replate the same omelette I was grossed out by and found the hair in and try to pass it off as okay. I was simply asking for a “new side of the pulled pork” I don’t know where that got lost in translation When I asked our server Mary) for the check, my girlfriend noticed she charged us for a pulled pork sandwich $16) when we ordered a $22 chef choice omelette. We brought it up to her and she mentioned she wrote a sandwich when she first took the order. Very confusing and seems avoidant on behalf the management here. I figured a manager or even the chef would have tried to come out and resolve or at least be apologetic about the unwanted hair in my food. Sucks that this was my birthday brunch experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back next time."
