"I ordered the Shaw Burger, which turned out to be indulgently delicious and quite messy (a bold choice), while my companion opted for a selection of chicken wings since it was wing night. I love sampling local craft beer when I travel, so I was pleased to find three different options available, all of which were good. My companion enjoyed a Long Island iced tea as well. It's worth noting that they serve their drinks generously, which can lead to stronger cocktails—definitely a plus, but you might feel the effects quicker than you anticipate! The band started playing at 8:00 PM and they were fantastic. They called themselves The New Primitives and perform there every Tuesday night. Check them out on any music streaming service; they're a really impressive band. If you have the chance to visit this place, I highly recommend it—you won’t be disappointed!"

Shaw’s is a NE staple. Respected music venue and pretty damn good food! The Shaw’s burger is a gooey behemoth of delicious. Tacos on Wed rock as well!

"Soap mentioned it, and I have to agree: you absolutely need to check out this spot at 1600 University Ave NE! You won’t regret it. It’s hands down the best music bar in the Twin Cities. They feature fantastic artists like Bruder Jellybean, Bernard Allison, Alan, Jason, DJ, and the legendary George Moye, also known as George 'Funky' Moye. It’s an incredible experience on the dance floor! Plus, there's almost never a cover charge. Be sure to support Zannman!"

My favorite spot for a burger is definitely this place. The Shaw's Burger is truly one of a kind. It's incredibly messy, and once you start eating it, you won't be able to stop because it's just that good. Other highlights include fantastic live music that is always happening. Parking is convenient with a lot at the back and additional street parking available. The newly renovated space is fantastic as well. On the downside, they seem to be understaffed. I visited on a Thursday night when the place was packed, and there was only one server working. She was amazing, but she definitely shouldn't have been handling the workload of three or four people. I just wish they were open more frequently...
