"Food was delicious and service was okay. Ordered items and order came out wrong. 3 French onion soups was 1 French onion soup and asked for Capuccino and ended up asking busboy to send Capuccino out after more than 10 mins ago. Felt like server was busy but there were only 3-4 tables with customers. Gem salad, filet, and chocolate tarte delicious. Came in at 2:50pm so menu was changing over so bad time to come in because menu is changed to small bites, happy hour menu. I will try again hopefully with different server. Server makes a big difference. 3 people spent $230 with tip."

Seafood was raw. Other replacement food was subpar. The wait staff was nice and tried to help remedy. View menu

they decided to close and did not tell us or cancel our reservation. the manager was very rude about that she just told us we decided to close, bye. no excuse. very strange experience

Servers were very nice and good, but were overwhelmed due to obvious mismanagement and poor planning. Since newer ownership the food quality has gone down a bit but prices have gone up. Spent a lot of money here for NYE and definitely did not have an experience that lived up to expectation. Missing what Simonette used to be like, will not be returning. The “Penicillin” cocktail is real tasty though. View menu

because of rain, the half of the restaurant was closed. her terrace was not covered. so there were not enough tables to host the diners. our 8:30 reservation was placed at a 9:30 place to leave the time of the cook and a third of the menu was not available. shortly after the manager left. the bar was a complete chaos. the dance floor was flooded so that there was no dancing or hors d’oeurves for the soiree. Usually the restaurant is very good.

Let’s be specific, I went because they were on the list for Best French Onion Soup in Los Angeles. I don’t know if it was an off night, but it was subpar. The soup didn’t have ANY depth of flavor (it tasted like they only had a little left, so they added water to stretch it out as we both ordered it) and the flaky dough on top was missing something and tasted a lil raw and like just flour and water. I ordered the fish of the day, it was pretty tasty, but small. I saw a few people ordering the burger, it looked good as it walked by. I’m not going back to find out though.
