"ordered a couple of crepes, the savory ones were fine but the banana/Nutella crepe definitely had plantains in it instead of banana (it is not the first time this has happened).Service.. While we waited for our crepes, a homeless person came in to ask if we could buy them something to eat and when we declined they left without issue, this interaction lasted less than 30 seconds.. but for some reason the two workers making the crepes spent the next 10 min complaining loudly about the homeless person, making comments about their smell and how dirty they were.. so rude and unnecessary, especially since the establishment didn 't look that clean to begin with.. but yeah overall sub-par experience( edit after reading the owner response: to be clear, I am not rating 3 stars because of my experience with the homeless person.. I am rating 3 stars because of the horrible way the employees were talking about this person who is a part of our neighborhood. I don 't want to contribute to the idea that the problem are the people in our neighborhood experiencing homelessness, the problem at this establishments is the fact that they buy poor quality bananas and employ people who feel comfortable dehumanizing others in the presence of customers)"

On a quiet day on Charles: Thanksgiving Crepe and Huevos Rancheros (not pictured). Great crepés, great view, great service at this Baltimore institution! View menu

I love the buckwheat gluten free classic ham and cheese and Dijon crepe at this hole in the wall spot so so so much. Love how convenient it is to Penn station.

I walked in at 745 pm on a Saturday. The sign on the front door says they're open till 8pm on Saturday. The guy inside says they close at 730 pm. I told him the sign on the door says they're open till 8pm. He literally got mad at me for asking why the sign says 8 if they close at 730. Very unpleasant experience! I used to go here a lot but will not go again.

Went to Sofi's crepes for the first time and was not disappointed. They had a huge variety to choose from and each of the crepes my husband and I tried were delicious!! I had the Kevin Bacon, and hubby had the breakfast egg and sausage, and the banana Nutella. They were all spectacular and reminded us of the street crepes from Paris ? we WILL be returning again soon to try the other options. The space was tiny, but they really made the best of the small space with the bar seating at the window and the waiting area right behind.

Hi. My name is David. I am associated with local arts spaces and frequent Sofis a lot. I generally like this place, however there is a gentleman who has essentially tried to refuse my service twice on no other grounds but the vibe of how I come off which could be tied to a disability I have as I am on the autistic spectrum. I realize they may have there own issues however this is no way to treat a paying and 20 percent tipping costumer, as I can't help existing. So while I enjoy the food and generally like everyone's service I am forced to register a formal complaint which I also did thru email.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
