"My boyfriend and I had an amazing date night at this restaurant! After a disappointing experience at Chicago Cut, we decided to make a redo of our date night and celebrate my birthday here. It was truly exceptional. We had a lovely table near the kitchen, which was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the oysters and crab and avocado appetizer, both of which were delicious. We each had a cocktail before dinner and wine with our meal. My boyfriend ordered the Bone In Filet Oscar Style, while I opted for the 8oz Filet Oscar Style. We also shared the Au Gratin and Brussels sprouts as sides. The steaks were fantastic, and the sides were good (the brussels sprouts weren't my favorite, but they were decent). The service was impeccable. The total bill came to $500, but it was worth it for a wonderful evening and delicious food. We can't wait to return. Special thanks to Carling for her excellent service!"

The waiter was wonderful, but the food was just okay. There are better steakhouses in the city, especially in the downtown area.

Took my sales team out for a celebration dinner. Great energetic vibe and wait staff. Perfect prime steak and wow can these people deep fry! Chicken fried lobster tails and asparagus were both incredible. Highly recommend! View menu

Absolutely wonderful dinner and service. Would highly recommend. My girlfriend and I decided to go here for our anniversary and we were both blown away by the service. A handwritten note plus a complimentary dessert on top of some of the best food I've had. Our waiter, Juan, was amazing.

We reserved a private room at Steak 48 for our holiday party. Robin coordinated the event and was incredibly proactive and responsive. She made sure all questions were answered and that we had everything we needed. Deena, the waitress, was exceptional. I didn't know what appetizers to order and she made great recommendations of which ones and how many. The room, service, and quality of the food were amazing. Overall, I can't say enough good things. I would highly recommend Steak 48 for dinner or an event.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
