"It was awful from the beginning as soon as we got there the first person of the party got there and I arrived 10 minutes later and they didnât Cetus at least 20 minutes with a reservation I was a few minutes late to the reservation so yes I just had three tables Kim available And she told us the way Judi told us that we were the next to be seated she said three couples before us and we watch them do it I was blown away and discussed. The food was awful undercooked the wait staff was very good but the maítre dâ was awful."

Food was spectacular as every experience at Sweet Basil. We are Sweet Basil in Needham frequent diners. Prefer the experience at Needham from ambiance to waiters, waitresses host. Happier lighter vibe in Needham.

The food was mediocre at best. The sauces for the chicken parmigiana and ravioli were very watery and did not taste good. The receptionist was unfriendly, which should have been a sign for us to leave after our first interaction. View menu

Service was slow . Wanted to sit outside told us no room but open tables all night outside. Food was ok most liked their dinner. Mice were seen running behind my chair nothing was done nothing taken off check or round of drinks disappointed with manger response.

Sadly, one of the worst meals Iâve experienced. IDK what happened to Sweet Basil. Even questioned whether under original ownership? First time at the Waltham location. Would never return. Seriously so bad. I know times are hard in post pandemic. But needs attention.
