"A group of us stuck in Mickey Land for a convention were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oskars in Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. While I'm not a fan of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual including a smoked salmon bar, ham bar, and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of families with kids so it was a bit noisy but that didn't really detract ... everything the group of 4 tried we loved. Only two things that were a little strange was that the cost of the buffet only included mimosas, not **** Marys and no eggs Benedict on the buffet. However, what impressed me most was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar it was empty even though two staff members I asked told me it would be replenished. When I mentioned it to our waiter he came back and said they were going out which was disappointing. The manager came over apologetically and said they even sent Hikton next door but they were out until Monday ... not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate of the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time ... THAT is service."

We visited Oscar's for breakfast and had the buffet. The service was great; All employees were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was really good and there was a juice bar with lots of options. The food was really good and there were many options.

The hostess dropped us off immediately. The selection at breakfast is buffet or menu - we ordered from the menu. The menu has healthy choices, and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The main course was delivered within 20 minutes and served hot. Menu prices are the same as a Waldorf Astoria, but a bit expensive for the Orlando area.

We asked the hotel staff if there is a Sunday brunch at the hotel as we had a midday flight and wanted a good breakfast before leaving. We weren't told brunch but breakfast at Oscar was good. Turns out they have the most wonderful buffet imaginable! Fresh piece of procuitto, fresh honey dripping from wax from a beehive, omelets and crepes made to order, loads of fruit and pastries, I could go on but you got the idea. If I'm ever in Orlando again, I'll go to Oscar's for "breakfast".

We were seated immediately with our open table reservation. The food on offer was of high quality, with a large selection, in a "Waldorf Astoria" ambience of elegance. The staff was very personable. On the serving line I asked for sugar free syrup but they said they didn't have one. (strange I thought) so I mentioned it to my server who immediately smiled and said: Ah, but I do! and went and brought back a small cup of S / F syrup. I will be returning to my husband’s conference in May (happened to be in the same hotel) and definitely make a reservation ... I think I will do this now before I forget ...
