"Staying at the Grand Hyatt and our first time being in Hawaii AND on our Honeymoon, of course we were excited to attend a luau however the cost was never mentioned in securing our reservation thru the hotel website or opentable. Came as quite a shock when they checked us in, gave us a meek congrats (since I 'm sure they see honeymooners all the time, but still) and said and payment? Needless to say we were shocked and made the bar count since the food was not great. In seeing others attend Luaus we saw a more elaborate production and digging up of the pig and it was my involved with the audience. Unfortunately the night we attended the entire front was reserved for an engagement that was celebrated the whole night. We can now say we checked it off, but had we known, we probably would have spent the $250 on ATV tours or a catamaran instead...the only thing that disappointed us about this resort."

One of our best meals while in Hawaii. Ron did a fabulous job making us feel at home. Good humor! Beautiful location! Stunning grounds. Who would not want to eat next to a Koi Pond.

The show was very good. I was disappointed that the event was indoors even though the rain had passed. We were told that the pig had been cooked under ground just for our dinner. It did not appear so. the rest of the food was very good.

Worst luau ever ! The food was quite good, but the entertainment looked like a high-school performance through a totally amateur sound system. We’ve been to Hawaii, including Kauai, many, many times. This was insulting it was so poorly done! Ridiculously overpriced. Pass on it!!!

The food at this restaurant was better than the other luaus I have been to on the island. The service was just alright, as the waiter kept questioning why we wanted a second mai tai and was quick to clear our plates before we were done eating. The performance was really enjoyable, especially since we were lucky enough to have it on the front lawn overlooking the ocean. We even saw some breaching whales, which added to the experience. Overall, the price of $125 seemed a bit high for what we received, but I would still recommend this place to friends and family because it was the best all-around luau in terms of food quality, performance, and location.
