"After looking at their marketing and promotions for their tiki bar happy hour online, I was eager to try it out. The view of the river was beautiful, our server was great and the band that was playing was wonderful, ambience was great and everyone was having a great time. However, for the price we paid for a classic Margarita, it came in a small plastic cup and it tasted more watery, lacking the flavor of a typical Margarita. Their bottled beers were pricey even for happy hour! We know of another great place which serves bottled beer at half the price that tiki bar sells during happy hour. On to the food, we ordered happy hour appetizers, but the portions were small perhaps because it was at happy hour price. The potato skins were ok and their buffalo shrimp had flavor without the heat which was nice. We tried their main entree of fish and chips and it was ok, nothing to shout about, to be honest. All in all, it’s a great place if you are going for the ambience and music but not so much the food and drinks."

This is a bowl of macaroni and cheese from the children 's menu, 7.99 mind you. Sad. My little girl cried and two different servers just shrugged at the bowl until I had to get the manager involved. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 View menu

Food was mediocre. I had fried catfish filets, fried shrimp, French fries and Mac and cheese! Sweet tea was delicious! Fried shrimp was good! Mac and cheese as well. French fries i would say are ok. Catfish was not quite there. Needs some more seasoning! No real direction when walking in on where to go to find the host. No wait either which was nice. Service was pretty quick fried pickles were good as well! Service: Dine in

The burger, fried shrimp tacos, fried banana peppers, sweet potato fries and mushrooms were a perfect Sunday snack while Whitey's attending the Doggie Costume Contest held here by Safe Animal Shelter of Clay County right next to the water and under the tent. Our server, Haley or Hannah (can't remember her name the moment...sorry) was TRULY OUTSTANDING and took care of our large animal loving group. Sweet tea was perfect and the sauces that came with the food put everything over the top. Excellent experience for sure! This place always had a great vibe. View menu

This restaurant appears to be more suitable for a casual outing with friends rather than for a family dinner or a romantic date night. The atmosphere was lively with a band playing on the deck, making it quite loud inside the restaurant. The bar was crowded, adding to the energetic vibe. Despite this, the food was delicious. I opted for the chicken dish, which was juicy and not dry. The rice was a bit dry, but the fries were tasty. I was disappointed to learn that the pasta I had wanted to order came premade with mushrooms, as it was not specified on the menu. Overall, while the ambience may be better suited for social gatherings, the food was enjoyable.

"Visited the place today. I love their burgers and steak fries BUT I always struggle with the amount of blue cheese crumbles I get when I ask for it. I?m paying for the cheese anyway. I tipped like I normally do because their credit card machine asks youto . But today I requested extra crumbles hoping I?ll get double the amount for the $1.20 price I paid? this picture is what Igot. Before I walked away I asked if they actually gave me the extra and the older man said ?Yes, I made sure the cook gave youextra?. I said ?Ok, but it appears to be as much as I normally get and could I please have more?. He was obviously frustratedwith me and walked to the kitchen and said something to the cook who looked up at me and he walked back with an ounce ofcrumbles. I thanked him and ate my meal but was upset. When I finished I approached the registers with nobody around and askedthis older gentleman if I was in fact charged for the extra cheese, he said ?yes?. I told him that since I paid for it, Iexpected to have enough on my burger to satisfy me and that I was sorry it upset him for requesting more. Then I added that Ihad left a tip as I typically do and I clean off my table. Then I said that if I return in the future I will bring my own bluecheese crumbles and I refuse to ever tip again since I do all my own work. I literally paid $13 Just for this burger and tip (nodrink). He did say that the tip is for the employees to clear off the table and that he was not upset (despite his gestures andcomments made to the cook). It upsets me when people who work for an establishment don?t seek customer satisfaction anymore. Itused to be the goal. Just smile and give your customers what they are asking and do this with appreciation because THEY arepaying your salary. I won?t give up on the place over this experience but I?ll be the one saving $1.20 plus tip putting my owncheese on my burger and clearing off my own table."
