"The owner, who also acts as the chef, waiter, and all-around nice guy, welcomed me warmly, took my order, and then prepared an unexpectedly delicious meal. I had passed by this tiny restaurant numerous times without realizing it was there. While some patrons opt for takeout due to the limited seating, I noticed a few DoorDash drivers coming in for orders as well. I will definitely return to sample more items from the menu. The offerings may be simple and not particularly fancy, but the food I enjoyed was wonderfully tasty and fresh."

Charged me for an Italian sub with hardly any meat on it. I think I had more meat on my sandwich in 3rd grade

Hidden jewel for Italian cuisine in Allston. Great food, modest prices and a very friendly owner. I'll come back!

No distance can keep me away from Alfredo's! My favorite place to go for Italian. Alfredo is kind and hard working. The homemade pasta is amazing!

Stopped in to get a dinner to go and was absolutely delighted by one of the best penne alla vodka dishes (with home made pasta)! The owner/chef/server is wonderful! Come here

A family business that transports you to Italy!! Their homemade pasta is worth it, even though there's a surcharge, I really recommend trying it!! Their pastas have gotten me through a lot of.

EAT HERE. Picked up their chicken Marsala w/ broccoli I was pleased to find one singular man running the whole show in there it made the food/experience even better. I Recommend one of the pasta dinners, it comes w/ bread you can dip in the flavorful sauce. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Very fairly priced too!!! View menu

This is owned and ran by one man, the owner. It's a small place but ao delicious! Hands down best authentic Italian food in Boston. It's like eating fresh pasta in Rome. Highly recommended. My favorite is the tortellini Alfredo with shrimp. But the home made pasta is delicious too. The pesto creamy sauce is really good and so is the vodka pink sauce.

There’s nowhere like Alfredo’s! Not only is the owner actually named Alfredo, but he actually has experience cooking in Italy. He brought what he’s learned from Italy to create affordable and accessible Italian food to the community. I’m obsessed with just about every pasta and in the summer, i love getting a salad too. The chicken saltimbocca with some pesto pasta is my favorite of all time, though it is quite heavy for me in the summer time, so I’ll explore the menu more during summer. I highly recommend to anyone!

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
