"A gosh darn tasty sandwich! Had the Californian on Rye and it was tasty as heck. Went of the first day and it was good. Went again on day two to confirm my initial impression and the sandwich didn?t let me down. The bread was fresh and real bread, unlike the trash they bake at SUBWAY. The other parts of the sandwich like pickles, onions, lettuce were ALL FRESH! Now I?m only vouching for their sandwiches. Not sure of their pizzas and other offerings. The only reason it?s not a 5 star is cuz the shop appearance, shop location, and traffic around the shopping center may be a distraction."

This is my go-to sandwich shop in Chula Vista. Every time I bring someone here, they rave about the quality and flavor. They are never disappointed!

This location has some pretty good pizza sandwiches are good also. I don't like the set up to much. There should be a small amount of choices instead of a million. The screen and way of ordering makes it complicated instead of easing it for the customer.

Sandwich is much better than any fast food chain sammich place. Salad was ok. I didn't like the way the deli meat and cheese was chopped up but it had a lot of salad in the container. There was enough for 2 full salad meals or 4-5 side salads. Definitely a 4.5 but not a 5 or 4 star. View menu

I ordered a pizza with pepper and chocolate tonight, and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It was so greasy it was more like a soup, with huge areas that had no toppings whatsoever. It looked like it had exploded or something. They really should have noticed the mess before serving it.

first I love chicago style deep teller pizza, but there is not really a comfortable deep food pizza restaurant near me. then I found out that this local sandwich shop made them. of course I had to try it. it was delicious and very full. I'm sure I'm back. Finally went back today and got a chicago deep dish with meatballs. as expected.

Ordered through Beyond Menu. Order was almost 30 minutes late, and cold. Paid 11.50 for 6 regular-sized, undercooked mozzarella sticks. Pizza was barely warm. Paid +9.50 for Chicago style. Pizza (18 had about a cup of sauce over everything, and wasn'tany different otherwise from a regular pizza. $73.00 for cold food. And the kicker: we live 5 blocks away. (I tipped 8.00. Iwant to use local small business, but not when this is the product and service they offer. View menu

This place has the best sandwiches in IB. I dare someone find a better BLT. Three Club is so freaking delicious and the All American is NUTS! It's huge you can hardly get your mouth around it. The pizza is delicious and I love that he offers both regular and Chicago style (both great). If you can get ahold of a cookie before I've bought them all try and do so cause they are Amazing. The owner is so funny and nice. I go here at least once a week and I'll continue to.

I ordered from the menu and was disappointed when my food arrived nearly 30 minutes late and cold. I paid $11.50 for six standard boiled mozzarella sticks, and the pizza hardly had any warmth to it. I also spent $9.50 on a Chicago-style pizza, which was essentially just a regular pizza with a cup of sauce poured over it—there was nothing special about it. In total, I paid $73.00 for cold food, and we only live five blocks away! I was hoping to support local small businesses, but I won’t be doing so again if this is the level of product and service they provide.

"I adore this restaurant. Golden Hill is filled with many many quality eateries, and Counterpoint anchors the neighborhood with it's fun atmosphere and dedication to quality. They recently renovated and the new space is open, airy and provides a variety of seating options: bar seating, restaurant seating, and upper balcony (I use this as a quiet place to WFH during the week), and an outdoor patio. I'm partial to the biscuit and gravy for breakfast, but the brined chicken and waffles or breakfast hash always makes me smile and sends me unto the world with a better outlook on life and a doggie bag. When it's hot, delicious crunchy salads are on the lunch menu and the craft beers and unique slushy flavors change. Counterpoint takes the quality of food and libations seriously. The craft cocktails rotate as the bartenders are encouraged to explore and grow. The owner and team are always warm, welcoming and make sure you have a good experience. Did I mention they are DOG friendly? Definitely worth the trip up the hill from downtown if you're looking to wind down after an event or precharge and eat before a baseball game. I love to bring my friends for a snack (try the olive selection) and chat on a twilight night. Space heaters outside if you get cold. Fans inside if you get warm. Honestly if you live in or are visiting the 92102 area code you should go to Counterpoint: good food, really good cocktails, and great company. It is clear that this establishment cares about quality, cares about your comfort and loves if you have a good time."
