"While a great meal can sometimes change a poor first impression, the food here was unfortunately unremarkable. We tried the crawfish, which were warm on the outside but cold inside. My husband suspected they had been frozen and then quickly steamed before being served. The server asked us if the crawfish tasted okay, and when we mentioned they were cold, her only response was, “Oh, I can’t understand why they would be cold,” before walking away. It was disappointing. My fish tacos were quite bland, although I appreciated the option of fruit instead of the usual French fries. The fried oysters were also lacking in flavor. Everything tasted as if it were made without care. The hasty atmosphere and the odd response from the server made our dining experience very mediocre, and we likely won’t be returning anytime soon. Thankfully, St. Michael’s has many other good restaurant options. On a positive note, they offered their own hot sauces, particularly the ghost pepper sauce, which was so delicious that we ended up buying a bottle. It was definitely a highlight of our meal."

Below Par. Had fish and tuna tacos. Fish was very dry and hard to chew. Tuna was very salty and cold. Had mussels for appetizer. Too Much garlic. May try another place next time. View menu

They don't like kids. I went there with 4 adults and 2 children. They told us that the wait was to for the kids to sit and our party was to big. As we left they sat people that were behind us in line. So we went to the crab claw where we should have went to in the first place. They seated us right away.

We both ordered the lobster bisque to sample the restaurant, but it was only lukewarm. The lobster pieces were few and cold inside. The bisque itself was excessively salty; I couldn't finish it due to the overwhelming saltiness. The menu stated that a bowl was $12, but I was charged $15 on the bill, which was higher than advertised. They only accepted cash, as the credit card machine was out of order. Additionally, the waitress was not very attentive.

The waitress, Jennifer, provided excellent service! The outdoor seating is delightful, but the food did not meet expectations. The crab cake dinner, priced at $32, only included one crab cake of average size. The rockfish filet was also on the smaller side for a dinner portion. While the crab stew was decent, the only crab meat in it was used as a garnish. For a meal that cost $200 for four adults and one child, it felt underwhelming. Last time we were in town (June 2021) we ate here twice a day. That’s how much we loved it. I went to Google to make sure they were still open in October 2022 and I was kinda surprised by the reviews. Not easily deterred, I went with my daughter for dinner. Nothing has changed. Just as good, with good food, good drinks, and good service, as it was in the summer. Maybe I came on a good night. Maybe others came on a bad night. Either way, we’ll be back. My daughter is 5. During our last visit to town in June 2021, we loved this restaurant so much that we ended up dining there twice a day. When I checked Google to see if it was still open in October 2022, I was surprised by some of the reviews. Nevertheless, I decided to take my daughter out for dinner, and I’m pleased to say that nothing has changed; the food, drinks, and service were just as fantastic as they were that summer. Perhaps we just had a lucky night, or maybe others had an off experience, but either way, we will definitely be back. My daughter is 5, and we had no issues bringing her along.
