"Good food, but we were overcharged. After I martini, I failed to notice on the spot, but, thinking about it the next day, realized the problem. After a trip back to the restaurant and 2 phone calls, I've been promised a refund (but not on the extra tip). I've heard from other people that it's a known problem that Barbette's software often fails to clear the previous party's charges from the tab before you sit down. Everybody makes mistakes, but, given that this is a recurring problem, the staff ought to be on the look out for it, ought to promptly refund money, and ought not be chintzy about refunding the extra tip. C'mon guys, it's just common sense: you got it wrong, so show your customers a little love if you want to keep them. Some vouchers would be a good start."
