"On the verge of standard pub fare. Bunk used to be better. Had a turkey club and it was OK, nothing special really, but the turkey was thick cut. Since when do you order a sandwich or a burger in a pub and it doesn’t come with some fries? (even the photo from Bunk Bar from a year ago she was fries on the plate) A simple garnish would’ve been nice…sprig of parsley? If you order a sandwich you get a sandwich on a plate, if you order a burger you get a burger on a plate. Thankfully, we ordered the loaded tots, but those aren’t as loaded as they used to be either. Maybe it’s inflation, maybe it’s Russia, maybe it’s Covid, maybe it’s door dash and Uber eats, but I definitely think there’s some cost cutting going on here."

Wow! The sloppy joe special was the best I've ever tasted. I'm so glad Bunk Sandwich is just around the corner from my workplace!

great service! I can see what they did with the sandwich that were there, but very small and the brot was overcrowded for the price class. I would try this point again, just try another element.

Great location, it has fun atmosphere. I come here for the food though, it never disappoints. I won’t lie though I miss the hours of the original location when I could hop in before work for one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches. I dream about those…

I was visiting Portland and I watch dive diners and restaurants and try visit those restaurants when I can. I had the pork sandwich its was good nothing special but not bad either. Had the tater tots i don't give 5 stars very often I was expecting a little fatter sandwich. View menu

The sandwich was good; I tried the Cuban. I could have used a larger portion, especially of the tender pork, considering it was $13. At places like Firehouse Subs, you’d likely get double that amount. However, the spices they used, perhaps cumin, added a nice touch and gave the sandwich a bold flavor.

This is a fantastic sandwich spot that also offers a variety of other delicious dishes. I tried the turkey club, and it was made with really fresh ingredients—absolutely perfect! The tater tots on the side were a great addition. I heard plenty of positive comments from others about their sandwiches and drinks as well. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in the area!

Bunk is certainly something of a sandwich institution in Portland and is always a safe bet. I recently ordered a Roast Beef sandwich which was the special for the day. At first I thought it looked a little small, but then I realized how tall it was! It was a very fine sandwich! And don 't miss trying their super secret recipe Creole Cole Slaw. It 's worth trying to bribe someone for the recipe. View menu

We wanted to try this spot in Portland, and it did not disappoint! It's a really cool bar and deli. My Italian sandwich was fantastic— the meats were fresh, the sharp paprika added a delightful kick, and the bread was just perfect. It was a beautiful day, and sitting outside made it even better. Being in Portland, parking can be a bit tricky, but it's definitely worth it to go in and enjoy the atmosphere. It's a fun place to grab a bite to eat. The service was excellent, and the staff offered great recommendations for what to eat and drink. I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! I visited on a Sunday when it was relatively quiet, and I loved the laid-back atmosphere. There were a couple of pinball machines and some unique tables that added to the charm. The bartender was super friendly and had a fun, quirky personality. He took our order, crafted some surprisingly good cocktails, and served up bar food that was far better than the typical offerings. This place really showcases the creativity and ingenuity that Portland is known for. There's no reason for it to have such excellent food, cool vibe, and great drinks, but it truly does, and it made our day. Thank you!

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
