"A really delicious dinner, although not as good as the original location in northwest Santa Monica near the PCH. That location being Giorgio Baldi. This is the Beverly Hills and smaller location. Tonight was a very tasty dinner, although for the price I would recommend going to their original location in Santa Monica. Tonight I started with the Beef Carpaccio, which was very good, although not as good as the other location. For my entrée, I chose the Veal Tortellini in Veal Broth, and it was actually very good, albeit a small portion. The Positives: the food quality and the taste are top-notch. They also have a lot of great options on the menu and our server, as well as rest of the staff we encountered, we're all very polite. I also really like the atmosphere of this place, it's classy and casual at the same time. The Negatives: it is overly pricey, I am sure due to the cost of the rent being in this part of Beverly Hills. Each of the dishes could definitely be less expensive, also the portion sizes are not very large. The Beef Carpaccio Giorgio Baldi is one of the best I have ever had, but this version at e Baldi wasn't nearly as delicious. The restaurant is also very small on the inside, so the tables are very close together. Conversations between tables easily overlap and moving around in the restaurant feels kind of like you're inside an airplane. Also, there is a 10% service charge on top of all bills due to it being located in Beverly Hills, which is definitely a negative. Finally parking in this area is not the easiest. We were able to find metered parking a block away, but if that's not possible your options will be valet parking for $12 or a paid lot close by.Overall a nice dinner, but I would recommend going to their original location instead."

We had a company dinner in private room. Food was delicious, but portions are so tiny, it wasn't enough. Deep fried mushrooms are the best

The service was terrible and inattentive. Our water was not refilled and no one checked on us. It has been over 1.5 hours and our main meal still has not arrived. The music was cheesy. However, the food received a rating of 4 out of 5. View menu

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! Although the service was a little slow, our waiter Francesco was incredible. He had a great personality and a fantastic sense of humor that made our dining experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, it was definitely worth it! The food deserves a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.

Had a delicious dinner here when we were visiting LA. The hostess gives preferred tables to regular customers regardless of reservations. She tries to get you to sit outside even if it’s freezing and ignores reservation times. Once you do get seated food is good and service is attentive. Noise level isn’t too bad. I may try it again next time I’m in LA. Maybe they will hire a new hostess by then.

I was served an overcooked branzino that was mushy instead of grilled as I had ordered. When I asked for it to be done over, the waiter argued with me and insisted that it was good, displaying a frightening and impolite attitude. I would have left if my husband had not been eating his meal. Eventually, the waiter asked if I wanted something else and I chose the langoustines, which turned out to be small and overpriced at $75. The cook is not Italian and the food was mediocre, with the prices being unjustifiably high. The overall experience with the waiters was not good. View menu

Fine dining at its finest. Compliments to the chef , everything is made with love and had such great taste. I had the meatballs to start , melted in your mouth and made to a perfection. The tomato sauce so light and flavorful. Then I had the sweet corn agnolotti (mascarpone) with the truffle butter. You have to do the scarpetta with the bread. Of course the bread is fresh and they give you a classic and whole grain bread in each basket. And to conclude the small meal, I had a nice chocolate mousse. Homemade whip cream and fluffiness of the chocolate mixed with the raspberry jam at the bottom. Indescribable. 10 out of 5! I could eat everything on the menu ! Service is excellent and the waiter...

"Haven't been to Spago since their facelift and I'm so happy some things never change. Spago is still the overall number one restaurant in all of Los Angeles. First, the ambiance: The new look is updated but not overdone and the feeling in the dining room and the garden is still very much warm, cozy and elegant. The Food: Pure perfection from start to finish!! We opted to go with the tasting menu $240 per person) along with some choice wines throughout the meal a full wine pairing is also available). Every single item in the tasting menu ranged from very good to amazing. The fact that this kitchen crew can execute a regular a-la-carte menu, along with a separate tasting menu to such perfection of timing and most importantly look and flavor is quite impressive. Favorites were the Gazpacho, Halibut, and Veal but everything else was absolutely delicious!! The tasting menu is extensive and for most people would be enough but not for us!! So added the ridiculously amazing bread box, a side of what can only be described as the best mashed potatoes you will ever have, and a chocolate soufflé....why you ask...jest because The service: Our server Gerhardt and the Sommelier Devin were superstars, as well as the team around them. Service pace was perfect and the wines recommended by Devin were excellent Gruner Veltliner, Rioja, Riesling). GREAT JOB!!!"
