"Wow were we pleasantly surprised! Sapporo has been in our neighborhood for four years and this was our first time in. We were looking for a happy hour on a Sunday and they've got Sunday happy hour ALL DAY. So the grandmas (who love happy hour) got margaritas and I had some sake. That margaritas alone would have gotten this place a thumbs up... and that's even before we had the sushi. I had NO idea all this time I could have basically taken a walk out my front door and found such fantastic sushi. The rainbow roll was incredible so so fresh and the Mongolian chicken was also delicious. The only downside of the whole experience was that it was noisy but if you're in a festive mood, it's not a problem..we will definitely go back."

"I enjoy this place quite a bit for both dine in and take out. It's usually fairly quick and they are pretty good at getting orders correct (like no mushrooms or onions for anything my kid orders). Doesn't usually have a wait and the staff is usually friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are high. For my mom/son and I we each ordered an entree, split 1 appetizer and ordered drinks. The bill was over $100. The appetizer was small but cost as much as a main entree and we were charged for rice when I thought rice was included with the price of the entree. Every other place doesn't charge for rice when you get an entree so that just adds on more money. This means we only go there about 2 times a year. That's a pitty! The food is great and we would like to have it more often."

"Make your reservation! You will not be disappointed! We had our son and (now) daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here and EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations! We live in Texas so most of the communication was over the phone. From the very beginning, Crystal made me feel so comfortable! I knew we had picked the BEST place for the dinner! EVERYONE on staff greeted us with warm, genuine hospitality. And the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce and chicken Peperonata! The appetizers and dessert were equally as fantastic! They graciously added vegetarian options to fit dietary needs of some of our guests. I could go on and on! The wedding was at Thornwood Castle. I was having trouble finding a restaurant near the venue to host a dinner after the rehearsal at the Castle. It was suggested that we have the rehearsal at the restaurant! There is a garden area similar to the wedding area at the Castle! It was perfect! WE loved it all! You must try the Adriatic! And if you or someone you know is planning a wedding at Thornwood, this place MUST be part of the plan! Thank you so much! You were a HUGE and BEAUTIFUL part of our celebration! You made it easy!"

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is a small business that serves fresh homemade-style food. When we walked in and found it nearly empty, we were worried, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The spring rolls were the freshest I've ever had and generously sized. The potstickers, chicken lettuce wraps, and cashew chicken were all made with fresh ingredients and delicious sauces. Despite overhearing some customers complaining about prices, we found the quality of the food and service to be well worth it. We highly recommend giving this place a try, as supporting small businesses is important, especially in a time when costs are rising. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area."
