"The person at the front counter was incredibly friendly and personable, making me feel welcome and paying close attention to my food preferences. However, the food experience was a bit of a mixed bag, as I only tried the baked goods. I ordered a Lemon Coffee Roll, which looked delicious but turned out to be flat, dry, and somewhat lacking in flavor—honestly, it was a bit disappointing. I also tasted the lemon loaf, which had a much more satisfying texture, although it could have used a bit more lemon flavor. The coffee, on the other hand, was hot, light, and perfectly brewed—definitely enjoyable. Perhaps I caught them on an off day or chose the wrong items, as I was expecting a little better. Nevertheless, they offered a good selection, and as I mentioned, the service was very friendly! I would likely give them another chance. As for parking, there’s a medium-sized lot that wasn’t busy during my visit, so finding a spot was easy, but I could see it filling up quickly on a busy day."

Great little shop, though it was swamped when we went to get the food. I recommend calling in order before going. Sitting area small, but cozy. View menu

Excellent excellent excellent drip coffee. The pastries are always really good too and I love that they have little bags of pastries and other items made by local businesses. Food and service here are also fantastic.

This was my first time at the Farmer in the Dell. I have several friends who said they love this place. I was impressed. This is not a typical sandwich place like Subway or other franchise sub shop. Their menu is very elegant and very specialized. It was honestly a little fancy for my tastes. It was highend food but their prices were great. I would have expect to pay more having seen the menu details in their food. All the food looked fresh and well prepared. I scanned what everyone else was eating. They also had fresh lemonade which was a nice treat.

I arrived during a bustling time at the restaurant, where all the tables were filled with cheerful customers enjoying wholesome meals. When it was my turn to place an order, the staff member was incredibly sweet and eager to assist me. She recommended two of their most popular sandwiches, and I opted for the turkey flatbread. After exchanging a few friendly remarks and leaving with a smile, my food was ready in just five minutes. It was absolutely delicious, and I’ve already decided that I’ll come back the next time I'm in town. I would definitely give it a 5 out of 5!

"I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always good and sometimes great. We went there last night and there was plenty of seating for outside so we asked to sit there cause we generally don't eat indoors these days. They had several of empty tables and went to seat us at the one high table they had which is ok if you are at a sports bar or they have no other seating but we weren't asked if we wanted to be at a high table with stools rather than a comfortable normal table. We asked to sit at a low table and of course they let us, but it would show a bit of caring to ask first. Small details but things you notice when you have worked on the industry for 10 years. Later when we ordered drinks we ordered 2 normal sodas and 2 diet. When the waitress brought them I double checked because I had a feeling that she would confuse them (sometimes you get this feeling and have to check) and she said that she actually separated them on the tray to make sure she got them right. The reason I checked is cause my wife is diabetic so she has to avoid sugary drinks and if she has any sugar she has to know so she can adjust her insulin intake to avoid serious medical issues. I also get diet so if she ever needs to take a sip from my drink it's not an issue. One of our friends drank her soda and right away she said this one is diet. She really dislikes diet sodas and can tell right away. So then my wife took her test strips she uses to test her blood sugar to test her soda (diabetics will tell you how they check) and sure enough it was normal so she traded. So overall a good place but I think the service could use work. A retired coworker goes there every other Wednesday and I started meeting him occasionally. Service is better for regulars. It's just that I wish the service was great for everyone. Not just the regulars. One final things to point out is that I've been going here for years and the quality of the food has deteriorated a bit . I would tell people to go here to get the best burger ever, and now it's a little better then just ok. And the wings are not good. I still go there every two weeks or so to see my coworker, just wish it were like the old Lewis's."
