"A cafe with great potential that doesn 't follow through.I paid $22 for the world 's saddest sandwich, a salad consisting of nothing but undressed spinach leaves, a croissant that tasted supermarket-bought and a Dunkin '-quality coffee that tasted overwhelmingly like chocolate milk, but still somehow overwhelmed me with caffiene. I 'm glad I didn 't get the $7 avocado toast, I 'm a little scared to see how it is.Suffering from an identity crisis, the place really wants to be a hip-stir cafe with innovative drinks and trendy food and visuals, and falls short of all those things due to its location clientele, one of whom I saw shocked and afraid when told they could put oak or almond milk in their coffee. I feel like the only thing that gets them through the door has to be the back the blue sign- they are people who don 't know what a decent cafe is, because a decent cafe doesn 't feel the need to bring politics into their food.If you want a real hipster cafe with good food, go 15-20 minutes to Utica Coffee in Clinton or Utica, or Copperccino 's, Superofficial or Spressos in Rome. If you 're stuck in Oneida, you 're better off just going to the local Dunkin '."

This local shop is the best for breakfast bagel sandwiches and iced chai tea! The atmosphere is welcoming and it doesn’t take these guys long at all to learn your name and say hello when you walk in.

Very unwelcoming atmosphere. Was visiting the area and wanted to try this cafe and immediately regretted ever giving my money to this establishment. Overpriced for the small portions. Food was also not very good and was cold. Not worth the visit, try one of the other nearby cafes instead. View menu

Tomato soup 10/10 The chicken blue sandwich was good as well 8/10 needed little more on the sandwich but taste was there and lastly the lemonade was 10/10 . It’s a little pricey in comparison to like Panera pick two . Sandwich and soup but overall it was good . Cannoli first time trying one was very good too !

The coffee is always good. But we tried a second time to get desserts because my daughter likes the place. The food taste like a fridge that has been sitting not cleaned for awhile. The food smells like it too. Someone needs to check the fridges. We threw the food away a second time and can’t stomach to come back

This is a sweet little place with such a good atmosphere. They welcome everyone as soon as you enter the door and they meet conversations with you while you are there. I have a cinnamon bunk that filled very much, along with a sugar cookie latte. It was delicious and not too sweet! They also had the work of a local artist on the wall that I thought was cool. I absolutely love Hipstir Cafe! I was concerned about finding good coffee after moving from Utica to Oneida, as I was used to Utica Coffee. However, Hipstir Cafe not only met my expectations but exceeded them in some aspects. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and you must try their white chocolate coffee. The seasonal blends and perfectly paired food make this a fantastic place to meet and enjoy some business. The restaurant is very clean, the seating is well-spaced, and there is a modern touch to the decor. You won't be disappointed if you give this place a try.

The restaurant offers a 'Med Plate' with a fresh mix of greens, olives, roasted red peppers, grape leaves, hummus, tabbouleh, feta, cucumber, tomato, and grilled pita. I substituted the feta for roasted sweet potato. They also have a daily changing soup, and I was lucky to try the carrot ginger VEGAN soup that week, which was delicious. For dessert, I had an almond milk toasted coconut latte. The owner mentioned that they make many gluten-free vegan desserts upon request, so I ordered a vegan cake. The setting of the restaurant is bright, stylish, and cool, making it a great space to work or meet friends.
