"We were on a mission to find a dog-friendly pasta restaurant when we stumbled upon this spot on Yelp. Despite its somewhat sketchy location, we decided to give it a chance. They offer bottled water imported from Italy and serve bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar from the same region. The pasta had a fresh taste, so I inquired if they use fresh pasta. There was a bit of a language barrier, so I can't say for sure if they do. The sauces were flavorful, and the portions were generous. However, I was surprised to find that their seafood pasta contained a frozen seafood mix, something you could easily pick up at the grocery store. It’s curious that they source so many ingredients from Italy but opt for frozen seafood. Overall, though, the dishes were tasty enough to satisfy my pasta cravings. While I probably wouldn’t choose to dine in, I would definitely consider ordering from them via DoorDash. Plus, the server was very friendly!"

Best Italian food in DTLA, not even close. We come here a couple times a month. The service is very warm and friendly and every dish on the menu exceeds expectations. The mushroom risotto and chicken parm are standouts. We take family here from out of town when they visit and it never disappoints.Food: 5/5 View menu

It's tucked away in a quiet corner of LA, where it may seem like not much is happening. However, inside, you'll find exceptional food that the chefs truly care about. It’s the perfect spot. The mushroom ravioli was incredible, and I’m already planning my next visit. The calamari was also delicious—trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

We ordered a variety of dishes: pumpkin ravioli, pesto pasta, meat lasagna, Greek salad, and truffle cheese pizza. Everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was bursting with flavor and freshness. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust topped with high-quality ingredients, while the pumpkin ravioli was delightful, and the pesto pasta was exceptional—my daughter couldn’t get enough of it! We were genuinely impressed with every dish we tried, and I must mention that the portion sizes were very generous. If I could rate this place with 10 stars, I absolutely would. You have to check it out!

I have come here quite a few times and I am always impressed by the food. Hands down one of the best places I've gotten Italian from. Not in the best part of the city, but worth it for the quality of the food. The spinach ravioli and chicken with mushroom marsala are to die for! It's nice an quiet inside and every time I've come it hasn't been to busy or crowded. The restaurant could take a little bit more care to getting rid of the flies near the entrance and the service is good but nothing to write home about. Our server was attentive but seemed to be very very reserved for a service job. This restaurant is definitely family owned. Needless to say, we will definitely be back! View menu

During my visit from Phoenix, my sisters and I were searching for a quiet place to dine, and we ended up here. I can't explain it, but the food was incredible, and the service was warm and welcoming. I wanted to snap a picture of the meal, but it looked too delicious to resist. Now that I'm back in the city, I wish I could return, but the thought of driving 800 miles alone isn't appealing. Thankfully, my family decided to make plans to visit relatives, which gave me an opportunity to grab a quick meal from this restaurant. Honestly, I joined the family trip just to eat here again. Their manicotti is the best I've ever had! I'm really pleased to see this place getting the recognition it deser...

Il Bambino is a charming little restaurant that won us over with its welcoming and friendly staff right from the beginning. The complimentary bread was a lovely touch to start our meal, and it was followed by a delicious bruschetta and perfectly seasoned calamari. However, the true highlights were the pasta dishes: Lasagna Bolognese, Linguine alle Vongole, Risotto ai Funghi, and Pappardelle Pasta Calamari Rucola e Pomodorini—each one a culinary delight. While I chose the New York Steak for a healthier option, I found myself wishing I had indulged in their pasta or risotto instead. One thing to mention is that bottled water was priced at $20 a bottle, but I’m not sure if tap water was availab...
