"Was Ok. New to area and ate there twice in the past week. Large servings but a bit cafeteria tasting. I got the pot roast first time very tender yet gravely tasted canned and a bit salty in a canned food kind of way. I?m a gravy lover so that was a deal breaker for me. My friend got the country fried steak and he loved it. He also loved the alcohol options. I don?t drink so meh. Second time I got biscuits and gravy. Surprisingly not enough flavor in the gravy and the biscuits were very dense/heavy. Home fries were what looked like deep fried and over cooked potatoes no flavor besides fried. Large portions but mediocre flavors. Oh and the second time we sat for 10 min without even being acknowledged. Apparently a miscommunication between the wait staff, but we are brown and all the white folk were being served so it felt off. We finally asked for a server and the girl assigned was very friendly and rushed our food order due to the mix up. The chocolate Malt Shake was very good. The cheesecake was too Philadelphia cheesy almost straight cheese I?m a cheesecake lover and this one didn?t hit the spot."

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Our waitress was fantastic and brought our food within 10 to 12 minutes of ordering. The breakfast menu is impressive, and I can't wait to return for lunch or dinner. View menu

The only thing I enjoyed was my scone. My eggs were overcooked, the gravy was bland, and the chicken fried steak tasted terrible. The pancakes were dry, and the syrup was cold. When we provided our feedback about the food, the waitress seemed upset and was quite unkind. My son and I were the only ones who ordered the chicken fried steak, and both of us ended up feeling very sick for the rest of the day. I won't be returning to this restaurant. I thought I had posted this review a while ago but realized I hadn't. This experience took place about two months ago.

Standard family-style sit-down diner with warm, classic lodge decor. They offer room service for the next-door Best Western motel. We had the salmon and trout dinners. I am picky about fish; the fish was quite good! The potatoes, vegetables, and fries were what you expect at a buffet or cafeteria. We had the skillet cookie dessert; it was fun for kids, but not fancy. Overall, the food is slightly cheap but the decor was pleasant and the convenience of sitting down for a meal right next to the motel was very nice. I would return again to both the motel and this restaurant. View menu

Melissa, our server, was prompt, efficient, and polite, displaying great knowledge of the menu when I had questions. The front desk staff provided immediate service and seated me by the fire when I requested a warm spot to sit. The rest of my breakfast was absolutely perfect. The sausage appeared to be local rather than the typical pre-packaged kind, and the hash browns had a delightful mix of crispy and soft textures. The bacon was thick and not overly fatty; I would have preferred it a touch crispier, but that’s on me for not asking! Overall, great job, and keep up the good work!

I moved to Farr West in August from Millcreek have been disappointed with most restaurants I've gone to... We came here last Saturday was very impressed with the food quality... But was even more excited that they had **** marys mimosas!(on weekends) My new brunch spot! The smoothie my daughter got was surprisingly delicious too. Pancakes are big enough my girls could of shared one saved some money but ???? I couldn't give 5 stars, because waiting in the car is annoying especially for 40 minutes... I respect what they're doing, but my mother I could of easily sat on a couch with my 2 girls and social distanced with ease.... They weren't preventing people from clustering in the very small gif...

"Laan Thai provides a truly authentic Thai ambience, complemented by exquisite decorations and warm, inviting lighting. Each table is graced with a small light, setting a pleasant, cozy tone for the evening. However, the restaurant's temperature settings might need a reconsideration, particularly during the frosty Logan January, as the chilly environment left something to be desired in terms of comfort. The wait staff at Laan Thai are undoubtedly warm and welcoming, providing a friendly face upon entry. Nevertheless, the restaurant seems to be grappling with staffing adequacy, leading to prolonged wait times for service. Additionally, while the effort is appreciated, language barriers somewhat hindered the effective communication of menu details and recommendations.Food:Satay The satay chicken impresses with its rich flavors and a delightful sweet and sour peanut sauce accompaniment. However, the dish falls short of perfection due to the over-dried nature of the chicken, detracting from the overall experience.Pad Thai with A standout dish at Laan Thai, the Pad Thai with Pork captivates with its chewy, well-seasoned rice noodles. The dish is a near-perfect rendition of this classic, with the only slight disappointment being the dryness of the pork.Roasted Duck This dish is a visual treat, beautifully presented with vibrant curry and fresh vegetables. However, similar to the other meat dishes, the duck's dryness prevents this curry from reaching its full potential. In conclusion, while Laan Thai excels in creating a genuine Thai atmosphere and offers some delectable choices, there's room for improvement in both service efficiency and consistency in the preparation of their meat dishes."
