"Judie's was not only a restaurant but a landmark. It was a sign of a lively downtown. it's been closed because of the pandemic and when many of the other restaurants in town reopened and served in reserved areas on the sidewalk and in the street, Judie's remained closed. I fear it may be closed permanenty. I wish the public had an idea of what was happening whether they would open aain or be sold to another owner."

Me and my family (my family and I) would eat here when I was a student At UMass from 2001-2005 and they would come and visit me. Fond memories. Such a special place and always friendly!

Judies has just continued to fall. It's overpriced with food that is not great. I'm done with a place I've been going to since the day it opened. But then Judy was the cook. She doesn't appear to be anywhere on the horizon, and the food is just not good. View menu

I'm not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars so I'm giving it five. I always have wonderful experiences there, and the popovers are always a delight. The menu has myriad and unique options for vegetarians, something that can be tough to find even in this area. Dessert is always delectable, too, if you save the room!

The food is overpriced. and. of mediocre quality nothing mother could not whip up in ten minutes . The service. was poor. The waitress was very grumpy and upset as if she was just cursed out by her boyfriend the cook in the kitchen. Go have a barbecue at Graff park outside on Mill Lane in south Amherst. Much nicer atmosphere. and a better class of people .
