"While the pizza here was fabulous, the service was incredibly poor the night we went. We sat for over 25 minutes waiting for a server to come to our table despite telling three different employees that we had not been served yet. Another server finally came to help. We started by ordering a beer and were told that our real server would bring us the drinks. Then there seemed to be confusion about who could pour my beer as the server was underage, so another 20 minutes before that arrived. It was a good thing we weren’t in a hurry, as the entire dining experience took over 2 hours! And we didn’t even order an appetizer or dessert! On the positive side, I hope this was an anomaly. The pizza was great. The atmosphere was really nice. And the servers were kind."

My Italian Sandwich and Italian Salad were awesome! Top 5 I've ever had. Cool restaurant, right on the river. Service was great, servers were friendly and courteous. BUT.... When your restaurant is packed (in the bar) with people eating lunch don't empty your trashcans right in the middle of them. Very Gross! I could smell it. Take then out of view. Black Friday went to Washington Bank to cash my payroll check and asked the teller where was a good place to eat lunch. And she recommended we come here. There was 4 of us. It was about 1pm. We ordered the 16"deluxe pizza, salad, and mozzarella cheese balls. The service was great. The food was even better, especially the sauce on the pizza. It was amazing. The only complaint I have, is it cost us almost $100. For lunch, that was a little high. Again, everything was excellent, and I would highly recommend coming here if you can afford it, often.

I’m not sure where the other reviewers ate, but the food at this place is awful. I had their signature spicy biscuit sandwich and my wife had their regular brisket sandwich. Hers was cold, and mine was inedible. It was like they just pulled mine out of the microwave. We got their fried pickles. The skin was the texture of shoe leather and there’s no doubt they were prepackaged frozen. And to think sugar fire was right down the street But we wanted something different. The drinks were decent My wife ordered a rRum Runner, which the bartender had to look up but she did a very good job
