"I was there having dinner with my husband as the only woman of color(dark Asian/PI) there for the first minutes I noticed all the tables around us were given bread and oil and balsamic vinegar we were not and it was kind of not such a good feeling when you notice that all around you when I got up to go to the little girls room I noticed that same thing was going on with the other tables everyone was offered bread and balsamic vinegar we were not. All through our dining experience there we were never offered any it irked my husband but he asked me not to say anything."

Date night at Massimo 's was excellent! Massimo 's is the oldest continuous restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek and it lives up to all expectations! Fantastic classic Italian food! Nice wine list! On a sunny day sitting on the outside patio by the street, my friends and I had wonderful starters! All of them tasted wonderful. The bruschetta was the best.
