"Our group of 2 couples had a fantastic time at Max’s at Eastman Place. Our meals were unbelievable, scallops, roast chicken, Salmon and halibut. We didn’t have a long wait for our meals or anything ordered. Haven’t been to a restaurant in many years where all of the peoples meals were exceptional. Desserts and drinks were excellent as well. One of the rare times I didn’t have to send my Black Russian back to be remade. Service was also superior. Chef Jill came out to check on our satisfaction and we couldn’t express how well we loved our food. Dessert was also above amazing. We will return! Sooner than later!!"

There are two dining areas and we choose the atrium. It is quieter and very relaxing. The food is excellent and the service was impeccable. We always come back!

We had a fantastic dinner! The appetizers and main courses were delicious, but the standout was the vanilla crème brûlée. Our server, Jennifer, was friendly, attentive, and professional.

Max has a fabulous deal for lunch right now. It is $15 for one of four dishes specially prepared for this promotion. I would have eaten any (all? of them, but chose the Shakshouka. It was delicious. Although the eggs were slightly more cooked than I generally prefer, the sauce was perfect just the right balance of peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Splurged on budino that was smooth and lovely with strawberries and nuts on top. The service was, as usual, impeccable.

We had a pleasant experience at Max of Eastman, with great service from our server and the rest of the staff. However, we were disappointed in the restaurant's location and the food and cocktails did not meet our expectations. While the caesar salad, filet, fries, and special were delicious, the french onion soup and cocktails were not as described. Our evening ended on a disappointing note when we saw a mouse run across the floor of the restaurant. We would not return for the food, but would consider going back for the excellent staff.
