"I went last night with my girlfriend (who ironically I was there with her on opening weekend un early July '83 and am going out with again now after being married to her sister in law for 37 years and who passed away in 2021) and another couple (friends of hers who just moved here from Indianapolis (the wife is an old friend of here and from Kenner). My gf and I had been once previously since Josh has owned it (previous ownership and management are old and good friends). We thought it was pretty good the first time, but last night was far better. I had the corn agnolotti (with shrimp, fennel sausage and pepper and onions. It was a very good. the sausage is incredible (made for them by Trey at T-Rey 's on Highway 59). My gf had chicken parmaesan. It looked great (and she said it was good). Our guests both had a swordfish special that looked fabulous. They both cleaned their plates rather quickly, lol. They said it was amazing, We also had 1 coffee specials (coffee nuvolari), two deserts and two bottles of quilt. Tab was $295, and $360.00 with tip. Our server was great. We will be back soon, as I am moving Nuvo 's up in my rotation. Overall a very good dining experience."

The redfish piccata was exceptional! My husband savored every single bite! The bolognese sauce on my pasta was rich and full of flavor—absolutely fantastic! Our server, Jack, provided excellent service. Additionally, the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad were delicious!

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Ambience has always been great, but under new owners/creative chef, Nuvolari's has taken off. Menu is exciting, with specials and seasonal changes. Wine list is extensive and fairly priced. Same for wines by the glass. Service staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. Having the General Manager on the floor helps with the service. A

I hadn 't been to Nuvolari 's in about 15 20 years. The green Dingy carpet is still the same. When you 're one of the most expensive restaurants in the area, you 'd think they would change it every decade or so. The bathroom was dingy and there was also toilet paper all over the floor. For a NON Busy Thursday evening, shouldn 't it be more taken care of? The filet was just okay for 30.00 I could have gone to Tx Roadhouse. View menu

Our experience the last two times has been less than stellar. We spent close to $200 in a 35 minute dinner setting. The restaurant was empty and our meal was completely rushed. Under previous management/owners it was always a lovely experience. Now, after two tries, we won't ever return. My chicken parmesan was pretty good, but massive. My husbands redfish with lump crab meat tasted like it was pan fried in a dirty pan. Save your money folks.

We had a reservation, were seated promptly. The manager greeted us and checked later on our meal. There was ample waitstaff and the food was described correctly. Among us we had the pompano, lobster ravioli, shrimp appetizer, redfish. All were presented beautifully and were excellent. We had four different deserts and they were great. We have eaten here for years, but this meal may have been our best. The bread is to die for, and comes automatically. A meal like this would cost a fortune in a larger city. We will return!

Everything exceeded my expectations! I was truly amazed by the food last night. You rarely find meals like these anywhere, especially on the North Shore. I ordered from the specials menu, which featured a shredded pork dish with the freshest, clearly hand-rolled pasta I've ever had. It also included some pickled peppers. I'm really sorry I can't recall the name of the dish, but I've been telling everyone I know about it! We also tried the lamb hummus, which was unexpectedly delicious, as well as the pistachio gelato. Honestly, everything was fantastic! I can’t wait to eat here every weekend. View menu

What a wonderful evening for our family for my birthday celebration! We were greeted so warmly by the hostess and server for water, bread and beyond... and our waitress Jennifer wowww!! We can't say enough about the service level, attention and quality! We had the fried oysters for an appetizer....!!! Wowww! Warm Italian bread served throughout the meal, ribeye for my daughter and husband, and meatballs with angel hair pasta for me. We have been here in the past ... this is a whole other level! Thanks for making my birthday so special. This was literally 12 years to the day after moving to Mandeville, dining at Nuvolari's on July 1, 2012 and then again tonight at the very same table, July 1,...

We had the pleasure of dining at Nuvolari's tonight for their Steak and Lobster Night, and it was nothing short of spectacular. This restaurant continually impresses with its ever-evolving menu and special events that keep things interesting. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender and full of flavor—while the lobster was fresh and succulent, simply irresistible, especially when paired with the au gratin potatoes that taste just like macaroni and cheese. The combination of these two dishes was a true culinary delight. If you're in search of an Italian restaurant that offers more than just the typical options,...
