"We stopped into Leonardo’s for lunch after seeing a friend’s recommendation on social media. As we entered the restaurant, I noticed it was busy, but not uncomfortably so. When we were seated, the waitress brought fresh bread and prepared an olive oil dip. We ordered a couple of glasses of Sicilian red wine, which we enjoyed. For starters, we ordered small salads. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and the salad complements (red onions, an olive and tomato) were just right. For our meal we ordered a kid’s pizza, which was big enough to split. The pizza was incredible. The crust had a nice crunch and the tomato sauce was different in a good way. We also ordered the cheese ravioli. It was a good portion and the sauce was outstanding. I had the salmon piccata. The salmon was cooked to medium well and was tender. The linguine and piccata sauce were good and paired well with the salmon. There is a bakery attached to the restaurant from which the desserts are sourced. We ordered a few gelatos and a couple of cannolis. All were excellent. The service was great considering how busy the restaurant was. We enjoyed our experience."

The chicken parmesan is definitely my top choice on the menu. The pizza is among the finest on the North Shore. And the gelato is truly delightful.

Excellent service and the calamari was perfect . Had a creat your own pizza w anchovies, fresh and delicious . Definitely worth the money as well , very reasonable . Will absolutely be back If you haven’t been their you should go .

Hard to beat the lunch menu here. I had already validated that this place was a hidden gem, but eating lunch one day was sitting g next to Sal Impastato dining and said, if it's good enough for him, that's further endorsement for me! Amazing experience! My wife and I are in town for business and decided to check out this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by a wonderful aroma, and the place was bustling with customers. Once seated, we were promptly attended to by our knowledgeable server, Haley, who was incredibly attentive. The calamari was exceptional, my wife's carbonara was fantastic, and my pizza was outstanding. The quality of the food is surprising given its affordable prices. Unfortunately, we have to leave Louisiana on Friday morning, but if we ever find ourselves within 100 miles of this place again, we will definitely return.
