"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

The ambience and the service were really great. I thought the menu items were unique compared to other similar restaurants, which I appreciated. However, nobody blew my socks off.

Service and food both excellent. The seating area is quite small, but not overcrowded. The menu offers an interesting selection of sophisticated dishes. We didn't try beer because we were seduced by the very extensive and creative cocktail menu. Definitely a gem. View menu

The drinks were good. Menu is limited. One person did not like the pork. The other thought the pastrami ribs were fat and of no value. The burger was good. Though very energetic, it's not really a place for $ 30 starters - much looser. Stick with the burger and a cocktail or beer.

whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.

I was hoping the food would be really great considering that the restaurant recently won an award for the best new restaurant in SF. Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner and drinks, and we were amazed! Staff is top notch and the menu is unique and modern, not to mention absolutely delicious!!! We had wonderful organic alcoholic drinks, with the oyster mushroom mac n cheese. Desserts were fresh and decadent. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner including avacado and tomato toast, eggs and bacon, etc. Great casual quality dining experience!
