"Patsy's Pizzeria, an institution in the tapestry of New York's culinary scene, offers an authentic slice of the city's storied pizza heritage. With an ambiance that harkens back to the timeless charm of Old New York, Patsy's provides a crust that crackles with history in every bite. The pizza, a harmonious blend of charred edges and robust sauce, speaks to the soul of those who seek the comfort of traditional flavors. A four-star pie, indeed, that tantalizingly flirts with perfection, but leaves just enough room for the imagination on what a celestial fifth star could taste like. However, during the hustle of peak hours, one might find themselves adrift in the sea of bustling tables, the staff navigating the tides of an overfilled room. It's a place where patience must be a virtue, service a casualty to success. Your glass may remain half-empty, a silent plea for attention amidst the clamor. Despite this, Patsy's remains a stalwart, a testament to the enduring love affair between New Yorkers and their pizza. A three-star experience not because of culinary shortcomings, but because even the warmest of ovens can't always extend their heat to the touch of human service."

Terrific salad with beets and goat cheese. Big enough to share. Pizza delicious as usual. We always go when we are in the neighborhood

The outdoor seating is spacious but it's right on street so somewhat noisy. Service was terrific, food was good and a very generous portion

Margarita pizza was burnt. Pizza sauce was high quality. Probably would be good pie if taken out of oven soon enough. Calamari as an appetizer was just ok. Burrata salad was excellent. View menu

Spaghetti with meatballs were fantastic. I haven’t had meatballs that good since we were in Rome. Pizza was very good, appeared to be stone fired. Lasagna comes with marinara on the side and was also VERY good. I highly recommend!

My 2nd time enjoying a meal here. Our server, Diego recommended some favorites and it was excellent! Will be back again to try new dishes on their menu. The holiday decorations and Christmas tree lights made the atmosphere even more special. Thank you!

Made an outdoor reservation on open table, traveled to restaurant, and they claim my reservation was not in system. They did not honor reservation and they were very rude about. Had to walk around and find somewhere else to eat outside with my two starving children and elderly aunt. Very disappointing View menu

I was just reminiscing about the times I would visit with my daughter. I had taken her to Dylan's Candy Bar and we needed lunch. We found Patsy's Pizzeria. It became a tradition each time we visited NY. It was always delicious! We have fond memories and if I'm back in that area again, this is my place!

Pizza was nothing to write home about. This pizza is uninspired.....Patsys should know better. Crust: Unrisen, no flavor, no crisp, no color. Likely very little ferment. Sauce: Dark red thick and little bit tomato pasty. OK flavor. Cheese was standard fresh mozzarella. The person putting the oregano on must have either seizure disorder or withdrawal shakes because there was a pile of oregano on one side and none on the other.....Its depressing when you order pizza in new york and it lets you down. If I had family visiting from another country, I would not bring them here....this is not a good example of new york pizza. It might have been in the past, and if it was, then the owners are living...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
