"I 've been eating at Pietros for over 40 years. I can honestly say I 've never been disappointed in the food. Ever. And today was no exception. I took my parents to lunch to celebrate my dad 's 77th birthday. We were warmly greeted and taken to a booth right away. Shortly after, our waitress was dropping off a basket of their signature garlic bread and taking our drink orders. As soon as she brought the drinks back, she took our order. It did take a little bit of time for our orders to come, even though the restaurant wasn 't very busy, but the food was definitely worth the wait. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. My mom had the homemade ravioli with meat sauce. Although it was the lunch special, the portions were huge. In fact, she needed my dad 's help to finish up. My dad and I had our usual the calamari lunch special. Two thin calamari steaks, perfectly seasoned and panko breaded then grilled in olive oil. It 's tender enough to cut with a fork. The lunch special comes with a side of fresh cut french fries. And by side of fries, I mean an entire plate of fries my kind of side! The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent as expected. And we left with full bellies. Pietros easily retains our family title of Best Restaurant in Vacaville. Wheelchair accessibility: Although the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, the parking is less than perfect for anyone with mobility issues. There 's plenty of street parking right in front of the restaurant, but those spots always fill up fast. If you have someone who needs disabled parking or uses some sort of mobility device, I would suggest leaving a little extra time to figure out parking. Worst case scenario would be dropping that person off at the front of the restaurant while you park, but that can be inconvenient if you don 't have support. Definitely something to keep in mind."

the time between ordering and receiving our food was an hour and half. Once the food came, a few of our commanded things were missing (i.e. no hugging on the hull). none of this was the fault of the waitress. it seemed like the problems came out of the kitchen.

We have only ordered takeout from this restaurant so far, but we look forward to dining in soon. The food we have tried has all been excellent, with the pizza standing out as a favorite. The service for takeout has also been top-notch. The price per person for dinner is typically between $10 and $20. We give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 rating each. We highly recommend trying the All Meat Pizza.
