"It 's been quite a while since I 've been to Rose Thistle. It definitely has changed a lot not necessarily for the better. I used to love the atmosphere, but besides the Scottish memorabilia on the walls, there 's not much of the atmosphere left. Orders were wrong (though one of us was ok w/their BLT). They used to be known for their fish chips, but what was served tonight wasn 't pleasant there was only one option. The front area is all poker games now, ordering done at the bar, no real table service. As I was told, it 's a bar on a Sat night, still I miss what it used to be what made it special. It 's not special anymore."

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I was subjected to harassment by one of the regular customers, and when I defended myself, the staff, especially Mandee the waitress, appeared reluctant to assist me. If you think it's okay for women to endure verbal abuse from men and then be criticized for standing up for themselves, you might appreciate the food here. Otherwise, I would suggest finding a different place to dine.
