"our reservation for 10 was lost when we arrived. our group sat still on a large table for 10, and when the waitress came, we were told that the restaurant was provided with only 2 chefs short, so that our eating would be delayed. we were also told that a series of employees did not appear for the work. the service was overall bad and our waitress crisp to time when we were ordered and appeared stressed. I ordered cesar salat and it was the worst cesar salat I ever had. in the round it was romaine lettuce with some crumbles. the dressing tasted like a fishy, watery mayonnaise. there was no parmesan or another type of cheese. I paid extra for chickens that were under season and the part was small. I will not return to this Shilo restaurant for dinner or other meals in the future."

Early dinner on New Years Eve, place was less than 1/2 full. Food was fine but service was non-existent, very strange. First time ever we tipped less than 20%.

A great restaurant for an airport hotel. Plenty of vegetarian options. Good prices for a hotel restaurant. They were very nice and accommodating for us with 2 kids:

I would not recommend this restaurant to dinner. the service was bad and the food was moderate. the next day we had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service was good. View menu

we were looking for a place to talk to friends at the silvester (no small presentation.) shilo sat in a quiet table that was distributed behind the register. we had a nice evening and good dinner. Thank you.

Food came much too fast I had just gotten my wine when they brought out soup that was so hot I couldn’t eat it then came the entre! And I waited and waited for the server for a second glass of wine. Never again!

This meal was not worth the cost. Most of the food was not very well cooked, we were given incorrect information when asked about an ingredient that was an allergen, and the service was slow. We would have had better food and service and a much lower cost had we gone to Hometown Buffet!

My husband and I took my mom there for Christmas Brunch. It was great! The food was good with plenty of choices, the staff was amazing! We had great service! It was our first time ever eating out on Christmas and I would go here again. I will be checking their regular menu and trying the restaurant on an average day as well.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
