"We weren't able to sit outside, but that wasn't a huge surprise at 6:00 on a Thursday night. Jen was our server and was also bartending, so she was really busy. But she was attentive and informative and did a great job. I'll add that I messaged the restaurant in the morning to see about a reservation and was told they don't take them, but was also told we'd have no problem getting a table outside for dinner. I believe the wait for outdoor seating was around an hour when we got there, so we opted for a window booth inside. So be advised, send someone early for a table if you're dead set on eating outside. She recommended the rigatoni, which is a house specialty, as well as the fish tacos. She also said the burgers were still good. Two in our group had the rigatoni and agreed that it was great. I had the fish tacos and sweet potato fries and really enjoyed both. The 4th in our group had a burger and truffle fries, and said the burger was good and the truffle fries were the best he'd ever had. The food wasn't hot, but wasn't cold either. I could see where someone might complain, but our group understands the current climate in the service industry and doesn't get bent about things like that. The flavors and quality were above average, so no bad marks for food taking a little longer and not being piping hot when it hit the table. It seems like they've put a lot of work into cleaning the place up and making more room for seats. The colors and decor seem brighter than before. All in all it was a great casual dinner experience and I'm sure we'll go back. The menu has some really good looking new options we'd like to explore."

Great service. Very good food. Nice location right on the water. Brussels were really good. Clam chowder was very tasty. Fish and chips were excellent. Pepperoni roll was not that exciting.

First timer, and I was very happy with this place. It holds surprises. Go! For me hands down this place, South Bends is best kept secret. atmosphere, great service, wonderful food, landscape, etc. I enjoyed myself. Thank you.

The food was very good and the view was pretty. Very relaxing atmosphere. Our server was very nice and helpful. The only negative I have is that there is a ton of stairs to get down to the river seat. It's just a negative when you have knee and foot problems like me, but it's worth it. View menu

This is the best place to get drinks in South Bend. It overlooks the river and has swings! We loved the bar area. The food was good. The biscuit in the chicken with biscuit and gravy was over cooked. The shrimp and buffalo chicken dip were great. Our server was Jericho and she was amazing!!!

On Wednesday night, we decided to visit the restaurant but unfortunately, it was a scorching hot 101-degree day. Upon entering, we found out that the air conditioning was not working. The hostess advised us that there were plenty of seats on the deck, but we found there were actually none available. Unfortunately, we had to go somewhere else. The food smelled delicious and the staff were friendly, but it was just not a good night to be there.

The food was mediocre at best. I had higher expectations for a restaurant owned by Navarre. The pimento/beer cheese dip was decent, but my fish tacos tasted like they were made with low-quality fish. The salad was average, and while the pasta was plentiful for $15, it was nothing exceptional. The clam chowder was just average. The sticky table was a turn off for me. Overall, I don't plan on returning as there are better dining options available. View menu

A nice place to go to. The staff were all very nice and friendly. A nice selection of food and drinks. The atmosphere was very lakey. The housemade soda and tea were okay, but not great. The nachos were decent but the chips seemed very cheap, reminded me of Tostitos. The Reuben wasn't bad, but seemed like it was missing something. The stuffed chicken sandwich was alright, but not spectacular. Definitely is a lot different than it once was, but not a terrible place to eat.

The food looked appetizing, but tasted average. The tiki burger lacked enough sauce for flavor, and the smash burger did not live up to its name. The standout dish was the sweet potato fries, which had a perfect crispy exterior and soft interior - a delightful combination of textures and flavors. I didn't try the root beer float, but noticed they use Triple X root beer, so it seems promising. Overall, this restaurant is not terrible and the prices are reasonable. However, if you're looking to indulge, I would recommend trying out Vinyl Tap for a truly delicious experience.
