"A most Pleasant surprise and gift in Apopka, FL. First, don’t always judge a book, a town, or a restaurant by its cover. Second, this is not your typical greasy fish fry, although when you’re in the mood I love a good fry. I tried the calamari, NE clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, potato chips, cole slaw, and the ritz cracker coated cod. It was all fresh seafood. My wife remarked that those shrimps were cooked that day and not pre-done. Things I really liked: chowder was a perfect balance of not too thick or thin and flavorful I’m always comparing to my favorite chowder from legal seafoods in Boston and this was better Cole slaw was also not heavily creamed Potato chips were yummy Shrimp were wow Things I liked: Calamari was fresh but wasn’t crisp Cod was very good and prepared on the healthier side as I would describe as clean Next time I will try the salmon. I will definitely return with my family. The service with Kayla was spot on, smiles, prompt, efficient, and friendly. As for the ambiance, in Better weather the outside patio looks great. Parking is abundant and their bathrooms are very clean. Owner/chef and his wife checked in on us, I’m glad to see such an investment of time, talent, and money in our community, bravo!"

The fish was excellent, and everything was perfect. It's not exactly health food, but it's great for an occasional indulgence. The wait staff were extremely friendly, which is a big plus!

I'm a Florida Cracker. There, I said it. I was born and raised in the sunshine state. I'm a good old boy through and through. I can't pretend otherwise any longer. I've tried to suppress it my whole life. I went off and got a college education. I'm succes

What an amazing atmosphere! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We started with the crab cakes (phenomenal). For our main dishes I had the Stuffed Lobstah and my husband had the steak filet. Cara (one of the owners) came to our table several times to check on us and to just chit chat in general. I highly recommend this establishment. View menu

Always a great experience! I visit Welsplatz nearly every week, and the food is consistently excellent. I'm a big fan of fried seafood, and they prepare it perfectly—never greasy or heavy. I truly love it! The coleslaw is simple yet delicious, without any unnecessary frills. The food really feels like home cooking, and they definitely know how to make fried green tomatoes just right!

Perfect!!!. This place is real country Florida food! It has not changed as long as I am! (10 years) The interior is still the same.. the food is the same. the servers are the same and its GREAT! Yeah, it's a lot of fried food.. But we all have to splash now and then everybody! The fried green tomatoes are a MUST!!! Together with the Gator and Wels! You will not be disappointed at all! Enjoy!!!!

This restaurant is truly one of the best seafood spots I've ever visited. As someone originally from Florida, I can confidently recommend this place to anyone in search of fantastic seafood. The sweet tea is outstanding, and the staff members are some of the friendliest I've encountered in any dining establishment. Now that I live closer, I plan to visit more often, though my arteries might not be too happy about it! View menu

Went to Nauti Lobstah for the first time today. I got the Ritz cracker crusted flounder. I don't know if it was baked or broiled but it didn't matter. It was outstanding. I also had sweet potato casserole. It was also very good. It's nice to have a local, privately owned restaurant that is so good. The owner, Cara, came to our table and was genuinely interested in how we enjoyed our meal. We will be back. Larry Davis

So I was craving seafood especially lobster and wanted something in the Apopka area so found this place from Google so I said let me give it a try since I’m a foodie don’t mind trying new restaurants I’ve never been to before! Right when I walked in I was shocked for a Saturday there was plenty of seats available so no wait for me! My server Kathy or Katie sorry couldn’t remember her name was super nice and and always checked if I needed anything! For appetizer got the shrimp cocktail and was shocked how big of plate of ice it came in with 6 shrimps! Then for main entree got the lobster tails and it comes with two sides so I got the house salad and fries! I like how my lobster had that crack...

"I came here after all my fellow yelpers posted about the event that ended two days ago. Tucked away in a corner of a shopping plaza on Semoran and south wekiva road this hidden gem is a great dining option for a wide spread menu. We started with the carb lovers unite. The biscuits were warm(ish), similar to Cracker Barrel style, but the cinnamon maple butter was cold hard- breaking apart with every attempt to spread it on 5/10. The corn bread was a 2/10, it was dry and crumbled so much that you couldn't pick it up to bite it, literally you had to eat it with a spoon to prevent it from spilling everywhere. The pineapple spread tasted great. My sister had the chicken fried plate with onion straws and collard greens.... The chicken was good 8/10 as were the onion straws 7/10. The collard greens were a pass for all four of us at the table 0/10. They were microwave warm, tasted canned and lacked seasoning. I had the true love with meatloaf crumbles. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 15/10!!! My daughter had the Boozie Bread with turkey bacon and cheese eggs. The French toast was described as crispy and the eggs were meah. Scored a 6/10. The chicken pot pie wasn't the typical pot pie. It didn't have crust at all, just a biscuit on top of very tasty goulash, 7/10 Based off of our dining experience we skipped the desserts. The sweet tea was a good balance and not too sweet. I was satisfied with our trip as was my party. We would eat here again if we were in the area."
