"Beautiful food! I had their famous griddled biscuits served with a side of butter and homemade jam, and they were delightful! Freshly baked and worth every penny. We tried two other breakfast items — both sandwiches — and everything in it was made fresh and upto taste. It was pretty crowded when we got there, which was a good sign IMO haha. They have some decent outdoor seating options, perfect for sunny days. Would totally recommend… a 10/10!"

I’ve been coming to August First every time I visit Burlington for the past 2 years and it never misses! Love their breakfast sandwiches (Eat the East, Day Maker), pastries (banana cream kouign amann pictured), and the dirty home fries were delicious. View menu

My maple latte was so good and the maple biscuit was pretty good. I didn’t really taste the maple and was a bit saddened by that. It was a good biscuit just no real maple coming through. The maple butter and jam were delicious just wish they didn’t come in plastic and a more low waste option to serve them was used instead.
