"We sat down at a table because we planned to order sushi. After sitting for a while the bartender brought us water without asking what we wanted to drink. She asked after if we wanted something else to drink. She told us our sever was busy with the hibachi. She took our order. Our sever never came by until our food was ready which the only thing he said was “chopsticks”. Dropped our food off. Just kept walking by and staring at us. Food was sad. Flavorless. Got 3 rolls that cost 37 dollars. No one ever asked how we were doing. Server just kept staring. When we were done he dropped the bill off. Pathetic excuses for service and food. I was excited to come back because before I moved away it was a great restaurant. Will never be returning."

Went for Hibachi dinner, got the scallop Hibachi and added lobster as well. Food was great, and I loved the chef! Very entertaining. The Japanese mule drink was very strong and delicious as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Everything was fantastic, but it was Chef Brian who truly enhanced our experience. He took the time to learn our names and made it feel very personal. We will definitely be returning and will be requesting Brian as our chef once more.

Wow. The food is outstanding. I love Japanese hibachi and have eaten at many such restaurants in my life. Bluefin Japanese Steakhouse Sushi is absolutely at the top. Everyone in our large party enjoyed their meal even our very picky son. Some had hibachi others had sushi. I wish we lived closer but it's a perfect meeting point for our family members on each side of the Michigan coast. Looking forward to our return. View menu

I had a fantastic experience at Blue Fin, a place I've been visiting for many years. Once again, it did not disappoint. The warm welcome I receive every time, combined with the incredible food and service, makes it a special spot for me. It's bittersweet that I've moved away and won't be able to return for a while, but I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in the area. I'm looking forward to another amazing visit. Typically, we prefer sitting at the hibachi, but it was closed due to COVID-19 and is set to reopen soon. Instead, we sat in a booth, and our appetizer drinks were delicious. We didn't mind the wait between the appetizers and dinner, but unfortunately, our main course was burnt and lukewarm. We received 7 pieces of shrimp and 7 pieces of steak. When you spend $75.00, you expect high-quality, hot food. Additionally, we noticed that people who arrived after us left before we did. I will return once the hibachi grills are operational.
