"I am giving this restaurant a 3-star rating. The food and atmosphere were fantastic for our event, but it is important to make sure you have everything in writing before the event. I had emailed a menu for a party and they called to confirm. We made some changes to accommodate the number of guests and our budget, and were told the price would be $X per person. However, when we arrived, the bill was double the amount we were quoted. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I was told that I needed to choose a different menu to get the price we wanted. This was frustrating because we had already gone through the menu and selected items based on the budget we discussed. Therefore, I recommend getting any quotes in writing to avoid any surprises at the end of the night, especially if communication is primarily done over the phone."

I gave this restaurant over 4 stars only because they seem to be spamming old reviews. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, but it tasted like a fish sandwich because it was cooked in the same oil. The fries also had a fishy taste and the service was not good. This was my second time here and it will definitely be my last.

I am thrilled that they have reopened. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere is wonderful (though not particularly for the food). The strawberry shortcake should really just be called a strawberry cake because it's not a traditional shortcake. The dining room could use a bit of updating, but overall, it's always a fantastic experience.
