"Dillon 's is one of my Cochella Valley desert favorites for many decades. This was until my encounter with the current Dillon 's bartender. Why? Two reasons. 1) He, white-male on Thur. afternoon, 23 June 2022.served 16 oz draft beer to me in a small, I guess 12 oz, bell-shaped glass. 2) Later, the same bartender double changed me on my credit card. One at $23.70 and second at $28.44 $23.70 with 20% tips). Proof of this fraud is on my credit card statement. I 'm so sorry that there is this one 'bad apple '. Dillon 's other bar tender female on Mon, 20 June 2022) and the cook are honest and outstanding. Food is always delicious. It is terrible to see this wonderful bar and restaurant 's reputation tainted by such a bartender. Bill from San Diego. 29 Jun follow-up. "GEM! This charming little market has something for everyone. The staff here are incredibly dedicated and friendly. I tried a date shake, which was excellent, and I also purchased a box of dates. These are the best dates in the world! They taste like caramel cream... Seriously! You might miss this cozy spot from the front, but once you step into the delightful back terrace, it feels like a whole new world. The food, service, and atmosphere are all fantastic, making it a great value overall."

"Just visiting Palm Springs for one day, we searched online for BBQ. To our pleasant surprise, Brown’s BBQ and Soul Food drew our attention immediately. With high expectations, we went on a Sunday afternoon, aware of their 5pm closing time. Mr. Brown (Charles) greeted us and assured us that everything on the menu remained available. The place has limited capacity, but that only adds to their credibility of being a successful business for almost a decade. Between the three of us, we had two orders of Barbecued Tri Tip, one order of Ox Tails (photo included) all three with fresh corn bread, and sides of black eye peas, collard greens, mac cheese, and sweet potatoes. Beyond enjoying these most delicious meals, we enjoyed conversations with Mr. Brown throughout. In addition, Mr. Brown brought his son, Aaron out of the kitchen to talk with us, as these days Aaron is cooking the meals. Wrapping up, this meal and our conversations with Charles and Aaron Brown were both delicious and good for our souls. At our request, Charles and Aaron joined us outside for a photo (2nd photo). We hope more guests at Brown’s will have a similar great experience."
