"I had the worst service ever! The new staff member took my order incorrectly and tried to overcharge me for it. They also attempted to keep my $12 change, which led me to ask for assistance. Eventually, someone else came over, and they had to call the manager, who still shorted me by 67 cents. I was then asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my food. After a 20-minute wait, I finally received my order. During that time, another employee approached each of the five cars waiting and asked us what we had ordered. What was going on? It was clear they don't understand the concepts of speed or customer service, and they seemed to struggle with basic courtesy and counting. My food was lukewarm, the fries were cold, and there was no ice in my drink. I heard apologies from two of the five employees, which were more like "my bad" than genuine concern. I will not be returning!"

I had a very disappointing experience at the KFC in Keokuk, Iowa. The night staff was impolite and unprofessional, and it took over 45 minutes for my food to arrive. "What a delightful little spot! This restaurant serves wonderful hometown, home-cooked meals. We were just passing through when we decided to give it a try. From the outside, it resembles a warehouse, but inside, it transforms into a charming café with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and there was a great variety of menu options. The food was both delicious and comforting. We would definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area. "Decent place with friendly staff and lot of verity on their menu. The food I had was pretty average all around, but to be fair I didn?t try any steak! I do like that they have a bar to sit at and non-alcoholic beers available. I ordered the chickenalfredo pasta, and it was alright. It wasn?t the best alfredo sauce I?ve ever had, but for it being homemade it could definitelyuse some work or a little seasoning. The chicken was pretty average too; it could?ve been grilled a little more and seasoned,but it wasn?t terrible. I?d like to come back and have a steak some evening in the future!"

"I really struggle to understand how this restaurant has good reviews. We are staying in Keokuk for the week, and our hotel has numerous ads promoting this place, claiming that they deliver to the hotel. However, when we called to place an order, the hostess rudely informed us that she has worked there for over a year and had never heard of the restaurant delivering to anyone. Accepting this, we decided to try another place that would deliver. Later, since we needed to run some errands and had our dogs with us, we figured we’d give Dr. Getwell's another shot and order takeout. I called them again, hoping to place a to-go order as their ads suggest. Unfortunately, yet again, I was told that they were too busy to handle takeout orders and that unless we sat down to eat there, they couldn’t assist us. I understand that restaurants can get busy and that hotel advertisements might be outdated, but if your marketing materials boast about being rated the best in various food categories and claim to offer dine-in, carryout, and delivery, you need to make some adjustments. It would be better to either update the ads or refrain from making such grand claims when you’re unable to follow through."
