"The food and service were great!! The portions were large. My wife and I split an order of fried zucchini, and a lasagna. We had to leave some of both, and I'm a big eater. If we hadn't been traveling, we could have saved enough for another meal. Great place! (Traducido por Google) La comida y el servicio fueron geniales!! Las porciones eran grandes. Mi esposa y yo dividimos una orden de calabacín frito y una lasaña. Tuvimos que dejar un poco de ambos, y soy un gran comedor. Si no hubiéramos estado viajando, podríamos haber ahorrado lo suficiente para otra comida. ¡Gran lugar!"

mama mia was a great experience. eating was amazing and the personal was attentive and friendly! I had the ricotta gnocchi with pesto sauce and huh, and it was *cooked.* I also tried the bruschetta board and crispy brussel sprouts. everything was so delicious, I was very impressed. the food came out quickly and we let ourselves be satisfied. next time I will try a dessert! two thumbs up

My wife and I visited Disney World in Florida several years ago (late 80 's)and ate at the Italian Rest. in the Epcot Center. The ambiance, service and food were excellent, as it was old world managed and operated, and quite noteworthy and memorable. Mama Mia 's in Portland has the same level of professionalism, quality of food and service and a very high level of just plain feels good about being there for dinner. Thank you.

I am a repeat customer and looking forward to my next experience. (Traducido por Google) Amo este lugar. Pequeño comedor con gran ambiente. El servicio siempre es bueno. Another wonderful meal at Mama Mia's! The appetizer of steamed mussels was delicious in a slightly spicy tomato sauce. Their garlic bread is too good. I had the cioppino, full of mussels, scallops, shrimp. It was excellent and plenty to take home. My boyfriend recommends the veal; he says its the best in Portland. For dessert, the cannoli is amazing! They make it from scratch and it is the best! The service, ambiance and food all top-notch!

Was hoping it would be good based on reviews but was very disappointed in the food. The bottle of wine I selected was superb (vintage of wine didn't match the menu) for the price, and the service was great. I got the Bolognese, and my friend got the eggplant. Unfortunately the food tasted very processed and was overburdened with cheese. Pasta wasn't overcooked, but didn't feel fresh. The artwork and ambience was great for an Italian restaurant. I just wish the food matched the rest of it.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
