"Pictured is my order of shrimp and grits. I also ordered chicken and fries, eggs and bacon for my son that's not pictured. The waitress was friendly however I asked for sweet green tea and she brought me unsweetened. When she took my order I waited 40 minutes for it to come but it was worth the wait. The first time trying an untraditional rendition of shrimp and grits and it was phenomenal! The sauce combined with bacon and sausage, grit cake which is deep fried grits is super innovative and touches the palette in all the right ways. I'll def be returning for this dish. 3 stars since my drink was invited and the chicken for the tenders my daughter ordered was very tough."

Their fried chicken is incredible; some of the best I've had. Our waitress Mae was absolutely lovely. She accommodated our every request and convinced me to follow my childhood dream of becoming a professional wrestler, despite my paralyzing fear of octagons.

Very good and FAST service. During the lunch hour we stopped and sat right at the hostess. We ordered within minutes and food was so fast. Loved my meal, avocado toast with added bacon and eggs. The family also enjoyed their meal. Our server, Doug, was also very friendly. Great lunch!

Definitely one of the breakfast spots in the area. I've always had great service and great food with average wait times. Only problem I've had so far (and consistently) are sometimes the condiment bottles and jelly packets aren't refilled. Other thanthat, a great place to eat breakfast. View menu

Barbara was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our breakfast was served promptly, and we all enjoyed the cheesy grits. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they offered scrapple as well! The portion sizes were generous; we couldn’t manage to finish all of our meals. Service: 5/5

I arrived at the metro diner on June 25 at 3 PM I was greeted by the lovely hostess and sat down at a booth. I was created by Mae our friendly waitress. She was kind ,polite and professional. I ordered the three cheese grilled cheese sandwich which I enjoyed very much. I will definitely come back. It was nice to have a waitress who was personable and nice to talk to. As a first-time visitor, I can't wait to return! This was one of the best burgers I've ever enjoyed. The food was fresh, served quickly, and absolutely delicious! While the food was impressive, the real highlight was Brianna. She provided exceptional service from the moment we arrived until we left. Brianna ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I'm hoping she'll be our server on our next visit! Keep up the fantastic work, along with the amazing food and service!

I had one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time at this restaurant. Our server, Brianna, was incredibly sweet, funny, and maintained a positive attitude while training a new employee. I ordered a Belgian waffle topped with powdered sugar, and it was by far the best waffle I've ever had—it tasted like the butter was freshly made in the back. I also got the hash browns, which were anything but ordinary. They had a delicious smoky paprika flavor with a hint of garlic salt; clearly, they were well thought out. Overall, Brianna deserves a bonus for her outstanding service. Thank you for turning my bad day into an amazing one!
