"If I could give MOE and this staff 10 stars I would! This was Not a normal dining experience, I've never been to a restaurant with such a genuinely warm staff (Katie, Ariel, and several others that I didn't even get their names) I called ahead to see if there would be a long wait time before we could get a table, as I had a couple of friends who are going to come up and meet us to surprise my wife as it was her birthday. Luckily Moe answered the phone, and she took down my name and set up a special table So everything was already perfect by the time we arrived. Trying to keep from spoiling the surprise, my wife wanted to go sit outside and listen to the live music that we could hear from inside. Which I had that too when I was our friends arrived 20 minutes later Moe had both of them set at our birthday party table she had decorated. Excited about it convince my wife to bring us to the birthday table without giving anything away. In the fastest thing click on your feet low stepped over to our table and said that the gift shop would be closing in 10 minutes but they would keep it open for us especially that way my wife was convinced I really did want to show her the gift shop worked out perfectly she was phenomenal!"

Very few places around the area are open on a Monday/Tuesday night. Decent spot to grab some bar food and watch the sun set over the bay. The food was nothing to write home about, but the staff was great and the atmosphere looked promising for a night other than a weekday.

Servers and staff are great, we received excellent service. We had the broiled seafood platter and seafood scampi, these were just ok. 2 for 1 margs are good but strong so prepare yourself accordingly. I would go back and try the fried seafood menu and have a drink for sure, but I wouldn't order what we ordered again.

Must try the Prime Rib and Key Lime pie for dessert. It's not the best prime rib, but the best for the money. When you take in the view on the patio, keep an eye out for a couple of locals that are regulars. Two herons may join you for a bite to eat. They seem to like prime rib and corn bread, but you should be reminded that feeding the local wildlife is discouraged and frowned upon. Service is great. Park wherever you can, they have plenty of room and servers to take care of you. View menu

Another disappointing ?seafood restaurant? on the coast. The food is overpriced and tastes like it was pulled out of the freezer and put together. No Snapper, Grouper, or Bay scallops which I don?t understand considering how much they charge for food and the fact they are a restaurant with history in Florida. The outdoor eating view is excellent! The history is pretty cool, but our waitress didn?t know much about the history nor have answers to our questions so we had to look it up ourselves. Apparently the drinks are good but we had to drive back to Orlando so we didn?t have one.

For what we paid we should have had a better experience. We ordered the Seafood Alfredo with rice and appetizers. My husband had his steamed clams first. When he was finished eating his appetizer,, mine finally arrived. I had the stuffed crab mushrooms. They were delicious. Our dinner on the other hand, was basically soup! They drowned our food in Alfredo sauce! Just because a person orders rice pilaf instead of pasta doesn't mean that you should serve them a Alfredo soup! We did not even get offered our salad or side vegetable that was supposed to come with our meal. I am not happy with the server we had at all. The appetizers and the live band was the only thing good there tonight!

"My husband and I have been to my Nannys restaurant many times when the original owners John and Ruth Owned it and we’re not always happy with the food or service then. On a Friday night with the fish fry my husband got raw fish and that was the last time we went. We like to go to small local restaurants to support them and generally find we like the atmosphere especially if it’s quiet. We were very excited to see that there was a new owner and decided to give the restaurant a try. The first time we went was a Sunday morning we waited a while but the restaurant was very busy and we understood that. Our breakfast was phenomenal! Then we went for dinner and it was OK. We went for breakfast again not as good but OK. Right before Christmas my husband and I went there because we had been out shopping and they had spaghetti with meat sauce on the special menu. My husband opted to get soup his soup came out cold he asked for a bowl which was not full but had to pay extra for a bowl anyway. The waitress came over to ask us if everything was ok because she noticed we weren’t eating our food. There was something in the meat sauce I believe it was over spiced and it made it kind of bitter. We told the waitress that and she must’ve went in the back and told to cook who apparently made the sauce. She came out with her hands on her hip and walked over to her table aggressively and said so you don’t like my meat sauce. We told her that there was some thing in there that we really didn’t like the taste of it and we never asked for our money back or anything just for to go boxes because I knew my son would eat it . She said well you’re the first one that’s complained about it today and I’ll have you know I don’t use thyme or rosemary. I have worked with the public and I have worked in food service and I have never in my life had a cook come out of the kitchen to aggressively address us in such a manner. We have decided we are not going back."
