"We always visit this restaurant at least once when we are in Las Vegas, because we have never had anything other than an excellent experience. This time was a dinner party of seven for a birthday celebration. We ordered 3 apps to share (the fois gras special, the mussel dinner as an appetizer (absolutely an excellent suggestion from the server! , and beef tartare All were perfect, and dunking the warm bread into the broth of the mussels was delightful. Dinner included steak frites, pepper steak, lamb, trout, 2 orders of roast chicken, salmon. Desserts were shared among us all. Wine was a bottle of Bordeaux. Pros: Excellent creative food, beautiful presentation, Attentive and friendly service- every need was anticipated before we knew we needed it. Courses arrived at the table in a timely manner, and the server was very helpful, answering questions and make suggestions. The food temperatures were spot on. Cons: The restaurant specialty roast chicken, which is normally absolutely perfect, had very dry white meat, specifically in the thickest side of the breast meat. When it was served, the skin was darker than usual, so that would account for the dryness. Since two of our party of seven had ordered it based on my previously glowing recommendations, I personally felt bad for misleading them. I always had ordered the chicken during brunch, so perhaps the late hour accounts for the variance. Note: Most of the diners did not adhere to the suggested dress code; there were sweat pants with tee shirts, hoodies, no-collar shirts, etc. Personally, I felt it was disrespectful to an excellent staff to wear the same thing as you might to a fast food restaurant, but to each their own. It also means that if you didn't bring business casual clothes, don't let that stop you from enjoying an excellent dining experience."

Nice ambiance; very mediocre food for what you expect! A little disappointing.

Always a spectacular experience. Service fast and friendly. Selection is ALWaYS fresh and outstanding. Worth the wait. No need to try any other bakeries in Las Vegas!

Every bit of our experience was amazing. Great service, drinks, food! I’d go back in a heartbeat. Plus, it’s removed from the casino area, so it was more romantic and not smokey at all!

What a fantastic experience! From food to service, it’s all top notch. Exactly what you’d expect from a Keller restaurant. Been coming here for years and never disappoints. Typically here for brunch but dinner is also fantastic. Get to try new menu items in addition to the wonderful seafood tower. View menu

Bouchon made this low carb eater, joyfully bust my diet! Best French bread, best croissants I have ever had! When you do things exquisitely as Bouchon does, simple things like bread, jam, butter are taken to a new level. The restaurant is wonderful and the menu makes it difficult to narrow your choices down to just one or two items. I looked forward to grabbing a toasted ham, egg and cheese croissant each morning I was there, and the only thing was the line was long and took about 25 minutes to get up to the front of the line. Magnifique, you are tops on my list!!!

First of all I would like to say that I am a huge fan of Thomas Keller. I visit all of his restaurants in the Napa Valley area and I’ve never ever had the experience I just had in Las Vegas. First of all I made a reservation for 11:30 am showed up at 11:25 am with my 90-year-old mother and was left standing before I was seated until 11:50 am. And I was reminded and required to confirm the reservation three different times by OpenTable. I was so excited to be eating a $32 cheeseburger and can I just tell you it was a frozen patty. Not to mention every time I needed something I had to flag someone down which should be unheard of at a restaurant at this quality. Disappointed, Pam 714-925-6001

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
