"We arrived at Chianti after an incredibly long wait at another restaurant. Although Chianti was busy, we didn't have to wait at all. We were welcomed with delicious bread and olives. There was a bit of a wait for dinner, but the homemade pasta, particularly the linguini with mussels, was outstanding. Our server, Brandon, struck a perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience! And I must mention, the Limoncello was exceptional."

Excellent authentic food, living in Sarasota I’d keep away from tourist locations because a place like Chianti has superb food, service and they cater to their guest.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant! You absolutely must try the Spaghetti a la Carbonara—it's the best I've ever had, without a doubt! The atmosphere, the service, and the staff are all fantastic. You won't be disappointed!

This is a great little Italian restaurant. We could mix and match entrees, salad and sides to get exactly what we wanted for a perfect meal with pasta vegetables, meatballs and salad. Tables, booths, hightops, bar. All great. And, Bill was a great waiter and bar tender. We will be back many times.

We had a surprise birthday party in the back room and the food and service were amazing. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. Every appetizer, drink and main course were served hot and fresh. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is laid back Italian. Last night. This restaurant remains amazing. Our waiter Giuseppe rocked around the table. Although we could see how busy he was, he could serve us in time. Drinks, excellent. I love the Manhattans. We had the salmon, meatballs with pasta, Portobello salad and Eggplant Parmesan. Each dish excellent, loaded with taste and cooked for perfection. Until soon Chianti we love you all!!!

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was truly impressive. The pasta was authentically Italian, and the sauces were wonderfully flavorful. The combination of different textures and aromas in each dish was exceptional. I can confidently say it's the best dining experience I've ever had! And don't miss out on their tiramisu—it's one of the best in town!
